    Interesting take. I just read the reddit thread from Türkiye and suggested another idea there.
    You could print a sleve out of PA in vase mode. Mybe the layer lines were not the problem but the inaccuracy at the inner seam. I would also print from a step file rather than stl to avoid any facets.
    PA might also have an edge over PLA. ABS or PETG in terms of lubrication.

    Very cool stuff! Any links for the posts/pins you've used for this build? I didn't see them on the Thingiverse listing for Shoosh. I'd love to use them in a project of mine.

      They are:
      clip_-_4x40_clip.stl
      4_2x16clip.stl
      4_2x10_clip.stl
      From memory they are sized for 4.2mm holes
