- Another one from the extensive backlog of cars that have been featured in Charles Phoenix Facebook page over the years. Meet Ryan and Elizabeth, the lucky owners of this all original, luxurious "miracle of modernity", the 1958 Fleetwood Sixty Special!
I own a '58 Fleetwood! Regent Green (emerald) lower, Acadian green (mint) upper, and green Tunisian cloth/leather (4 shades of green) interior. Green, green, green. It is so spectacularly over-the-top with lots of feminine rolls and cleavage to her figure - Lincolns are from Mars, Cadillacs are from Venus. That aluminum ribbed quarter panel is not just a piece of surface trim but is actually the fender...it can be removed leaving the space entirely open. And those fins will take out a kidney...ask me how I know! 'I KNOOOOW!' Thanks for showcasing this amazing car! and congrats to the fun owner couple too! (sorry for all the exclamations but that's what a '58 Fleetwood will do to you!)
You gotta Cut those Tailpipes off in the Rear! They are sticking out way too Long!!
One of the MOST FABULOUS, INSANE and MAGNIFICENTLY OVERDONE American luxury land yachts EVER MADE!! GOR-JUSS❤️❤️❤️❤️🤯🤯🤯🤯😍😍😍😍😍‼️‼️‼️‼️
Absolute over the top luxury and elegance in this Sixty Special. Puts all others to shame! Yes this is true American 👍 symbol of the time. This and 1961 Imperial LEBARON (both in formal black) are my ultimate dream boats or should I use the more appropriate term LAND YACHTS 😀?
What is very important about seeing the motor is... Cars would have never been made without the motor being invented
You missed the motor....,. again
My Goodness! What an amazing episode of JoyRide! Thank you Charles! No wonder I NEVER see a thumbs down on any of your videos. You Charles are a treasure of mid-century modernity. Love ya buddy!
What a spectacular find! Kudos to this young couple for their good taste and fortune!
A cousin of mine had one of these, with Air Poise suspension. It floated over bumps in the road. He repainted it from the original grey to a metallic blue. It was a gorgeous car.
Didn't Alfred Hitchcock own a black 4 door '58 Cadillac? If so, I wonder if that might have been his car.
it's just the finest of quality!
what a FANTASTIC CAR!!!!!!!!
MAN! That is awesome.
Most distinctive joyride yet
Very sweet!
Ah, memories of my vanished youth. My family drove Fords. But I met a man who drove Cadillacs exclusively. Beautiful!
A sixty special,very impressive I Know I Know I Know.
One of my favorite cars. Love that panel of trim
Nothing says luxurious excess like a late 50s Cadillac, especially the Fleetwood Sixty Special!!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful car 🙂
