There are tons of swear words in the Chinese language. Believe me, when I first started learning it, the first thing I did was to look up all the swear words. They even have their own, one of which (my favourite) literally translates to "fried chicken butt".
There's a difference between an expletive and a swear word. The latter is considered socially inappropriate in most cases. Think darn instead of fuck. I don't know chinese but I imagine what is meant is that most expletives are not swear words.
If asked this question, I would have guessed the following swears in order of most-likely and most offensive: 1. C**t 2. F**k (or F**ker) 3. W**nker I knew it was the C word immediately, as most people deem that swear word the most offensive. It rattles people more than any other swear word. 😁 😂😆
