As a retiree with multiple serious health issues, I’ve watched at least 40 of your videos as I try to plan my first Camino. Guided by your videos, I picked what I thought would be the best fit (Le Puy to Conques) and booked it for 2023, but it didn’t come together due to one of my health issues. Your videos are brilliant, inspiring, and super helpful. Thanks for all you do to breathe fresh life into my dream as I try again for 2024!

Hi Efren, It's Chris from Sydney, I have no problem with Pilgrims using their shell to drink the wine but what I do question is when I have seen people drink straight from the spout with their mouth around it? That I just don't understand. Aside from that I am enjoying everything that you do. Chris from Sydney, Australia. 😊

Gracias, Efren for another great series. I'll probably do the littoral route + spiritual variant since I only have 2 weeks for it. Btw, that guy in the blue shirt (your friend) looks a bit like Robert Lewandowski (football/ soccer player). Take care & safe travels!

Did the central route in 2011, I was unaware of the coastal route at the time so your comments are appreciated.

There is the coastal route, and then there is the Litoral, which trails the coast at all times.

What is the Litoral route? Do you have a yt of this route? It’s different from coastal I am assuming?

The Litoral hugs the beach at all times. I did it in 2019, and there is a playlist about it.

Hi Efrén - dumb question but as you continually talk about your GPS system and google maps I wanted to ask. Last year, I did the Camino Portugues Central and mainly used one of the camino apps but other friends used google maps. Do you download the google maps ahead of time or do you have data along the entire route to use google maps? Thank you. Thoroughly enjoy your videos.

I have my own GPS tracks on my phone, which I use on Google Earth Pro. Yes, I do get a data plan whenever I travel. T-mobile gives me slow data in Europe, which is always my backup.
