Looks nice! Definitely a more Norwegian style home. The sharp boxy kind of look with the roofing and the angles are very typical to dock houses in Trondheim and Bergen. It's like one of those houses but with added contemporary flair from modern architectural design found in cities like Oslo.
I feel like the dark brick brings more of an earthy feel to homes in Sweden and around that area, but I love the idea of a more modern looking brick, more lighter, and I think that it would fit in just as much as dark brick would. I love both types for this type of build.
this is reaaaally beautiful, i would love to live there! there are many things that feel quite swedish, like the kitchen. although nowadays, in new/modern houses we dont have cupboards in the kitchen (just googling "scandinavian kitchen" gives you a lot of examples). other than that, retro interior design is very popular here right now but there aren't much of that in the sims unfortunately ^^

Wow, I'm soo impressed! Contemporary family homes with white interior is soo Scandinavian, you nailed this one. A little tip would be, I really think you should have gone with wood paneling on the exterior, I think 95% of all Scandinavian homes are wood houses. Typical interior is white, light wood and pastel colours :)
Hello, I'm indeed from sweden and though I don't comment often but I'll make an exception for this one. I'd like to start off with that I like the build, and though it isn't spot on swedish, with the bricks especially for modern houses. Form wise it is great, we are doing the asymmetric things here. One thing we really do for new buildings now is all white plain for the exterial aspect, and with red or blue, colourful window pannels and matching doors. Just in case you were interested :) Though sweden is a pretty old country so we have a lot of diversety in our architecture :) anyway enjoy new york!
you maybe don't know, but there is a really big tradition in scandinavia, which is that we have a kind of a storage place where we put stuff in so it doesn't get spoiled, have you heard about it? because it's called a fridge.
the reason we have those a-shaped roofs are bc at winter, there is so much snow, and its pretty hard to get up there, the roof might collapse, we also have really strong windows, so they can stand the rough weather(they wont break if you throw a smaller rock on them). the most classic swedish house is red with white panels and brick roofs. the results when one searches "swedish architecture" is pretty crap tho :-/ i could easily see your house in a swedish town as one of those "radhus" (you sweds know what i mean, no idea what its called in english) but its not really a traditional one. i just wanted to tell you, i really love your videos and its always awsome when you update!! greetings from sweden!! HEJDÅ!(bye)

I really like this build! I like how it's in a simple style, but it's obvious that that is the style your going for, so it doesn't look barren. I think the cardboard and the hamper behind the sink are both really awesome ideas I hope I can use in the future :) I was also wondering since I love the A-frame look you went with if you could do an A-frame starter home? I think that would look really nice too. Overall I think this build is amazing :D

I'm not Swedish, I am Norwegian, but we have a lot in common. We use a lot of wooden walls, both on the outside and the inside of the house. Maybe you could build a traditional family home with a Scandinavian touch. The most common family home in Norway has white, wooden walls, light wooden flooring, triangular roofs, with a porch, etc. :) x

I think you forgot one very scandinavian thing: sauna! Almost all big houses and a lot of smaller ones have sauna or at least common one in the building. At least in Finland it does, and I think in Sweden it`s quite similar situation. That should`ve went right beside bathroom in the basement. It`s so nice that you`ve thought of your swedish fans. :)
