    Thanks Sean and Sid for your dedication to building a quality product.Hoping we can get some others to commit to buying a quantity of your inverters. We as a society have been conditioned to using credit and buying the less expensive product and just tossing it instead of fixing it. You guys have developed an upgrade-able product that will last for many years and be reliable. Hang in guys it will happen.

    Why not do a crowdfunding run? You have product. Reach out to your customer base to get reviews / testimonials. Your equipment runs our home as the primary AC supply and has for over three years. You can get 4 or 5 people to show off their setups running GS equipment.

    Dude - it does not sound like begging,
    just tell everyone what you need to recover,
    pay your business credit cards,
    and order your next set!
    If you do not get 20 + 20,
    then offer product at a higher price for lower shipping quantities.
    Ask & you shall receive!
    The 12K you shipped is awesome!

      Biden just raise duty to 50 percent for import parts from China so the GS12kw price will be higher to cover import duty and ocean shipping ??

    Look, I just stumbled on Genetry today. I'm in the market for a reliable off grid inverter. The USA needs exactly the product you're making but your business practice is not good. You need to market your product as a "victron killer", or something similar. When you have the best product you can charge the highest price. You should not be pricing your 6k at a point you could lose money. Raise the price so that cannot happen! You can reduce prices when your selling at scale.
    If you post another RUclips video, highlight your product! Show it working. Show it being used for RV which is likely a huge portion of your market. Compare it to EG4 products. Use it with EG4 SoK LiTime batteries. Show it charging Teslas.
    Get a hold of Will Prowse and have him invest and highlight it on the biggest YT solar channel.
    Sell to North America your customer service and job creation, stuff we don't get when purchasing Chinese crap from Amazon.
    I wish your company the best. Would love to see a good American product go mainstream.

    I really think you should open up a new "pre-order" But with like a $500 non refundable deposit. As in the buyer can't back out or lose the $500.. But if after a certain time you don't have enough orders that will net you the 20 plus 20 you would refund the pre-order money. I can see that it would be hard a customer to front the $3K for a 12K and have to wait 4-6 months... If you get enough orders. But if you do the $500 deposit and once you get your 20 plus 20 you ask for the rest of the money with the stipulation you got the orders and it will only be a month or two until delivery....

    It is heartbreaking really. I know it's pointless to say it but if I was in the USA I would have been in the first round of purchasers because you do have a good product. All the best guys, and I hope you do get sufficient orders to make the operation viable.
    That Powerjack ripped you off doesn't surprise me. It was either their intent from the get go to simply take the cash, or they assumed they'd be able to get their hands on the firmware by fair means or foul and rip you off that way instead.

    May I suggest that since the 6k units can be daisy chained that you only build 6k units to make life simpler and more successful?

    • @GenetrySolar
      @GenetrySolar  5 месяцев назад

      6k units are borderline unprofitable. We would need to raise the price at least 300 dollars for it to be worth it.

      GS6k can not be parallel with 6 inverters for 36 kw . Two GS1kw running 120 vsc can be daisy chained which is not the same as parallel .

    How many orders do you have now, and what do you think about sales and service in other states for you.

    • @GenetrySolar
      @GenetrySolar  5 месяцев назад

      None, because I have to turn them down. If I could pool all the orders we could do it but no one wants to wait 4 to 6 months for an inverter and that is only if we meet our goal.

      @@GenetrySolarI agree with the other user. A social media push for orders similar to a group buy effort with a deposit or a kickstart would likely get you there. 40 is a lot of units, but it has worked with crazier things

  • @gravelydon7072

    Economy of scale is what you are needing. I saw that 50 years ago in the large scale model railroad world. Unless you could build 5 at a time, you just could not break even. And nobody ordered 5 at once. Now our town has lost both of the sheet metal shops and it is getting harder to get anything in the way of metal work done. But it won't be my problem much longer because by the end of the year I will be living full time in Ohio. This has not been good times since Nov of 2022 and even worse since Jan 2023 when I became executor of mom's estate. The amount of money you need is about what I have put out in that time. But I see a light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully you will see one soon also.

    • @GenetrySolar
      @GenetrySolar  5 месяцев назад

      Main issue is I turn down alot of orders because it's not enough to make an order worth while. If we can get another round of inverters we are home free because we would sell enough after that to keep things going. It's just getting the funds to get that next round in.

    • @Ian-pe9rj
      @Ian-pe9rj Месяц назад

      @@GenetrySolar I have several ideas to capture as many orders as you can within a time period, then place a batch order with your OEM to get the inverters made.
      Accept orders through your website for a certain amount of time (~ 1 month) but don’t charge the customers card at the placement of order. Wait until you have enough orders in the queue then place the inverter order with your OEM, then charge their card at that time. During the 1 month if you don’t have enough orders to meet the MOQ then you can cancel the orders with the customers and since their card wasn’t charged there’s no harm to them.
      The catch is you might need to do some kind of marketing since you want to make sure you have enough customers orders so you can place the inverter order with the OEM, as canceling the orders might upset potential customers.
      Also as another side note, if a product is not profitable to sell, raise the price to at least the break even point. At this point you don’t want to be selling products at a loss unless you have a massive marketing budget and are just driving sales to gain market share that will lead to a eventual price increase down the line. If you’re self finding this business you will eventually run out of it cash if you keep doing this.

      Paypal credit is a scam if no delivery in 180 days and will not give refund . Bank credit require 60 days for delivery . Ebay will not refund for inverter from China if no delivery in 30 days . Very difficult to sell on youtube if parts need to be order from China and buyer can not wait more than 60 days for assembly and delivery .
