You must do research ALWAYS before interviewing anyone! Especially to have a successful talk show. You’re a Wendy Williams fan. I was an intern on her show. My job was to research all guests and come up with material for the interview. That’s the professional way. Granted you want to do things your way. Having an open platform is a good and bad thing. Which I think you enjoy that. So you have to prepare for all of the backlash. You have no respect for Joe. If you did you would of done your research. Period.

Wendy Williams is perhaps not a good reference.She has been on air wrong many times. He said when doing interviews, he let the people speak. He wants to have an authentic conversation with the guest therefore he doesn't do too much research. He lets them talk and he ask questions therefore his reactions are real. Also keep in mind he said that before releasing the interview, he deep dived the Joe Budden situation and found more stuff that made Joe look worse. This lady was not the only person to accuse Joe of abuse.

Also the word allegedly is Wendy's way of avoiding a defamation lawsuit. Being that Jason wasn't the one that made the accusation or even reported on the story that term is not necessary. I’ve always liked the both of them but I agree with Joe, they both seemed to be equally toxic to one another. He seems on the up and up while she hasn’t yet figured out the direction of her life. While I dont think Jason owes Joe an apology, I do think he should have called him just off the strength that Jason calls himself a journalist. Before a media outlet releases a story, they reach out to people to let them know what came up in the research of the story for comment. You already have his number so why not? Especially if you two have broke bread together. You're clearly hurt but you are wrong and strong in this situation.
The thing is the interview wasn't recorded last wk, if anything when u watch the interview, u can tell that they interviewed her around when the marriage boot camp episode aired. So they held the episode for some reason. they gave it that wild ass title, and she mentioned Charlamagne. Add that up it's easy to see y people think that it was a hit piece put into play by Charlamagne.
