"Blue Miller lock tight" LOL!!! Thanks for another great vid, Tim!
Just slightly stronger than red IMO.
@@TimWelds 🤣
You should offer the cad file for this stove with the discount through send cut send. Just an idea. Thanks
I was about to ask the same thing. Like to build one but not reinvent the wheel so I'd love to buy the CAD files and the parts as a package delivered to my door
What a cool little project. I enjoy your videos, Tim. I bought your full set of courses and practiced welding all last summer. I'm still just so-so at it (aging eyesight doesn't help). But I welded a bunch of stuff that I needed, thanks to you.
Thanks! If you ever run into road blocks with anything from the courses, feel free to send me an email and I'll help you out.
I've built many rocket stoves in my life. This was a beautiful build.
Such a cool little build
Thanks Alex!
Great build. I would buy that stove in a heartbeat. 👍
Thanks! I might develop it into a weld together kit. I have a few ideas that could make it better and a little more affordable.
@@TimWelds Please consider selling what we'd need to place the order with Send Cut Send. I don't know how that'd work, but I've bought plans for things from others in the past. The accuracy of the parts to make this work mean it would have to be an order the pieces pre-cut thing for me. Thanks
A weld together kit would be awesome.
@@TimWelds
Please do think it over - it could be profitable for you and we get a great stove that we can enjoy welding up. Have you any idea what you could sell the kit for yet?
Make the kit! I'd buy it for the welding practice.
Hello!! Your comment round 8:41🤣🤣!! Lots of things never go back exactly 🤣🤣!! I work on bobcats and dozers!!
First time one of your videos made me hungry ! Great show this time .
Wild little cooker ,certainly easy, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
I'd buy the CAD file for this, or even the parts, if offered. What a cool project for people!
Cool little project
Beautiful job. Thank you.
Nice!!! Always love your projects!! Your instruction is second to none, but I really enjoy your projects, thanks, this is so cool!!
Thanks! Videos like these are a lot of fun to make.
Very clever, Tim, thanks for sharing!
Nice build! Really like that one!
Thanks!
Neat project Tim. When I'm out and about I've got something like that. It's called The Holiday Inn Express!! LOL!! Thank you for the informative and very interesting video.
Great job, thanks for sharing 👍
Very nice, thanks for the video. Well done!
I'm smelling breakfast burritos! Clever design. Thanks TW.
I'm not much of a cook, but a bit of butter and cast iron makes anything good.
"Miller Blue Loctite", took me a sec, but I got it. Nice.
Cool stove I really dig it. You should get rid of the black plastic spatula lol
I see that others have asked if you will offer the cad file for ammo can stove. I'll join the chorus of those asking (I'm not above begging!) that you do---please.
Thanks! I'm looking into several plans and kits this coming year and this may be one of them. I have a few things I'd want to update before offering them.
Additional pan supports other than simply the x may prove necessary. Perhaps border pieces around the edges that slot in, with little notches and them. This will also help trap the heat under the pan and less of it just go away
I think something like that would be a good addition.
@TimWelds because I've used a little camp stove that just had an x and it's easy to accidentally bump the pot or pan and have it slide down the x and all your food is on the ground
we need a similar website for Europe!!!
Instead of going with the kale wool. Which we all know is bad for the lungs. I'd maybe go with some thin fire bricks. k26 coated in a thermal mud cut to size would last a long time and easy to replace and easier for installation.
That's a great idea. The insulation was a pain.
@@TimWelds I felt your pain, we all have those moments in the shop. 😅 Worked out though 🔥
Good (Even if you don't have tabs) :)
Thanks! 😃 There are a couple places that a few alignment tabs would be helpful.
Please use a respirator when dealing with ammo can paint! It will make you really sick if burnt or vaporized. Don't know what's in that paint, but it's awful.
Definitely, that stuff is no joke.
Free shipping, you only had to soend $250 on $80 woth of meral
I'm not sure where you can get cold rolled steel precision laser cut, bent, tapped and delivered in a quantity of 1 for a better price than SendCutSend, and I've looked. I have worked with a lot of local laser cut shops over the years and their minimum order quantity makes small projects like this much more expensive. A few years ago, local shops were generally less for higher quantity orders, but SendCutSend is very competitive at higher volumes now too.
@@TimWelds it was simply a comment on the shipping being built into the cost and not free, not sure how you took that as a personal affront. In a surprise twist is there any chance you will be selling the plans?
I wasn't offended at all, I've just done a lot of shopping around and haven't found a better overall price. I might offer plans if I get enough interest, but I'd probably make a few updates.
Just make sure you use an old style METAL Ammo box... not the new PLASTIC ones....😀
Tried using the link, course is still $59
Each individual course (MIG, Stick, TIG or Fabrication) is $39. If you want to get all 4 courses, you can get the bundle for a discounted price of $59.
@ thanks for the clarification, love the content. Just bought a welder.
No problem, enjoy that new machine! Welding is a lot of fun.
I'm thinking that this is something Ukrainians would build for their displaced civilians.
I don't know who to contact, though. Ukrainian embassy, maybe?
Very² nice & compact ..
Can I place an order from you Tim ..? Send it to Malaysia ..?
I really love it
Thanks! Right now, I'm not offering it as a product. I may create a version of it in the future.
@TimWelds let us know then ..
Thanks anyway for your feedback Bro
