    Thanks for explaining all the details and providing all issues. I just bought it from Costco and have set it up. The machine has been renamed as CENTR 3. Your channel helped me to finalize my decision. I am going to see all your videos to understand how to do different excercises on this.

    💪🏼 Cool ! I’m digging the variety of reviews you do ! I workout at home and love it 100% ♥️ One day I’ll upload my training 🥋

    I’ve had this trainer almost a year now and it is great in most ways. I have Titans basic flat bench and use it to do single arm rows and that combo works great as I can brace against the bench’s flat foot as I pull. As far as lat pull downs I actually run short soft loop tie downs around the feet and via carabiners attach another adjustable strap that I use to hold me down to the floor. The curl bar is garbage as it’s not even centered on the bends. Like you said in your original video review, it needs a little more height. Just make it level with the top of the pull-up bar and it would be that much better. I still love it and use it all the time. Great quality and versatility plus the sale prices at Costco (1,700 right now) make it a stellar investment!

    For the seated rows wonder if you could link both towers and pull from the middle? Probably would be hard to setup that way

    You can get the Gym Pin from Micro Gains to add more weight to your weight stacks with weight plates

    Happy for this review. I ordered this this morning but learning these things and mainly that you can’t add weight was a deal breaker 😢. Too bad. Great price but it would become an expensive paper weight

    I appreciate your videos. I did a lot of research on functional trainers and your videos helped me decide to go with the SF3. It just got delivered this past Saturday and we assembled it that night. The smith bar set up is going to take some getting used to but overall I think it's going to be perfect for me. Do you ever use the smith bar for squats? It's a little different having to put the bar down at the bottom of a squat.

      Actually I started a second channel that focuses primarily on this machine and how I use it. Yeah I have that same issue with the smith bar and addressed it in the video and how I’ve found a different way I use it to work the quads. ruclips.net/video/wxwDEWS2T4A/видео.html

    Thanks for your videos. They helped me the decision to pick one up. I just assembled mine but I don't know if the weight stack pulley is working as it should. Should it be smooth-gliding or should it have some resistance? I see the pulleys move when I pull weights, but when I try to move the pulley with my finger it's REALLY resistant to moving. The other pulleys seem to be smooth moving. Did anyone here run into this as well? I'm not sure what's considered normal.

    Thanks for the review. Good idea with the plywood. Where did you find a 6x6 piece? I'm having a hard time finding anything wider than 4 feet. Thx

    • @JasonMazurek
      @JasonMazurek  Год назад +2

      Got it from Lowe’s. I actually have two pieces down for the platform, one is 4x6 and the other is 2x6. They come in 4x8 sheets, so I got two and cut them down to size. If you don’t have the saws they will cut the wood for you there.

    Hi, I have a question about the space required to use the SF3 and bench comfortably. I see you have it in your bedroom. How much extra space do you have in front of the SF3 and would do you think would be ok? Thank you.

    • @JasonMazurek
      @JasonMazurek  11 месяцев назад +1

      I’d say 4 to 5 feet would be good

    Great video new sub!! This machine is awesome! It’s sold out right now in Costco. Do you think they might be getting ready to drop a new model?

    • @JasonMazurek
      @JasonMazurek  Год назад

      Hard to say, the FTX Costco sells came out 2 years ago, the SF3 came out alittle over a year ago so they could. The only thing that makes me think they aren’t is the fact they haven’t released it yet. I do t think they will wait till the holiday season to drop a new model. Most likely Costco will get the SF3 back in stock and hopefully have a sale for the holidays

    Does your sliding carriage rattle during exercises? Mine rattle and sound like PowerBlocks if you have ever used those dumbbells before. I tightened everything and they have play in them and it causes a rattling sound.

      Yes mine does doing certain exercises. I reached out to them and they told me it was normal.

    Is the SF3 the better machine out of the Costco Functional Machines?

    • @JasonMazurek
      @JasonMazurek  Год назад

      Yes, better built machine, more weight training options with this machine. I just checked the Costco website and this looks like the only available functional trainer they offer. You can now pick up the SF3 from Amazon too, link in the description of video.

    Just do the lat pull down on the floor or find a bench that sits lower.

    Thanks for the interesting reviews. I'm about to order this machine and I was wondering if you could cheat and get a 1:1 high startpoint lat pulldown by engaging the smith bar with the weight doubler, attach a random pulley at the pull-up bar with a steel cable so you'd have access to the machine's maximum load and get awesome pulldowns that way?

    • @JasonMazurek
      @JasonMazurek  Год назад

      Possibly, but no way to no for sure if that would work until someone actually builds a rig like that

    • @jonasirw1
      @jonasirw1 Год назад

      If u get a gympin, let us know how it works. I’m considering this gym system but the weights are definitely not heavy enough. The key thing to figure out is how much weight the pulleys and cables are spec’ed to handle

  • @PACHOUSEFITNESS

    So its only 100lbs on each side? Thats really really light. I thought it was 200lbs each stack. Thats not gonna work for me .

    • @JasonMazurek
      @JasonMazurek  Год назад

      It has 160lbs stacks on each side. Doing cable exercises the ratio is 2 to 1 so the stacks are only 80lbs on each side. If yo use the Smith bar, it has a weight doubler on it so you can use the entire 360lbs

    • @PACHOUSEFITNESS
      @PACHOUSEFITNESS Год назад

      Actually it's only 82.5lbs on each side ...smh
