A great advert for the fishery Alec. Obviously well stocked and managed. Couldn't find a website but if the prices shown on Facebook are current then it's also good value for money.
@@Paul-px1zwHorses for courses ‘ol boy. I’m sure all these guys have fished beautiful lakes and waterways all over the place, but they still find something to please them at Knitsley. I went a couple of times years ago, not greatly to my taste, but just the job if you’ve got mobility issues.
Always intrigued me why this place gets such good write ups. I’m not saying it’s an overstocked garden pond or it’s too easy just that it has such a naff artificial look and feel to it I don’t know how anyone takes it seriously. Plenty you talk to agree as well.
It gets good reports Paul because it fishes very well all year round using different methods and the trout are in great condition. Each angler has the right to go to the fishery of their choice depending on what they like 👍 🎣🐟
😂 I think you are saying it’s an overstocked garden pond. That’s not far off being fair criticism. I think it could be interesting fishing if you put away the blobs and indicators and squirmy whatnots, and stick to, say, traditional wet flies, dry flies, nymphs, even streamers. I get it that it’s fun, a novelty if you like, to catch loads of whacking great rainbows on a pink blob fished six feet down, but once would be enough for me.
Oh for gods sake come on. Look how east they are coming in. How can anyone take it seriously but it’s just a plain featureless pit the aesthetics are rubbish.
They can and I know for some it’s all about getting your string pulled. Iv nothing against man made fisheries it’s just that this particular one is the man made pits. Literally
Lots of people agree with me as well I’m fact most you meet. And, in saying what you said your more or less in a agreement that it’s fucking shit. At least it’s catch and release but even so wank holes like knitsly are fuel for the antis

Everyone can have their opinion 🎣🐟

The irony is I’m going to have to have another look up now just to see it it’s a rubbish as I remember
Ok been again and it’s still crap. Iv no idea how anyone can take this place seriously it’s throwing into a breeding pen
If you think that , why not just fish somewhere else , lots of people enjoy fishing there , it's all about doing what you enjoy 🎣🐟
