    I'm not much of a chef (at all) but the one piece of fancy kitchen equipment I own is my rice cooker. Love my Zojirushi. I've used one for years and even given a couple as gifts.
    Thank you to everyone in that room who helped build them.

      How can it be worth it, when it is the easiest thing in the world to make perfect rice just in a normal pot on a normal stove? Just use two volumes of water for one volume of rice, bring it to a short boil and then let it sit on the lowest heat until the water is absorbed. It is literally as simple as that. Why this machine, then?

Their assembly line production set up to their quality checks, to their packaging is what we all should be striving for. It's lived a life since then, it's moved around, gone on long trips, survived disasters, and been pretty much the most constant object in my life I suppose. I'm 38 now and I recently bought a new rice cooker, not because the old one stopped working. I'm just in a place now where I felt I wanted an upgrade, and I of course went for a Zojirushi.

    • @stevens1041
      @stevens1041 9 месяцев назад

      @@brucehur2051 hyundai and kia will never displace Toyota. Won't happen. Sinking yen made Japanese production cheap now. Plus Korean car factories have the highest cost structure in the world. Korean white goods and electronics are very good, I like to buy LG and Samsung. Sony was a mismanaged company the last 20 years, they took too much advice from bankers (such as Third Point, advised them to get out of electronics). Of course the biggest electronics company in the world is Apple.

    Family and I literally bought a Zojirushi cooker as a souvenir when we went to japan. Its awesome! you can also cook so many things besides rice in it too. The salesman was so nice to my parents explaining all the features. Also small warning, Direct from Japan Models not for export need a step up power transformer plugged in between your outlet and cooker because they run on 220 volts there and USA uses 110v for most outlets. While it'll work without one, its not good for the life of the cooker. Bought one on Amazon.

      @@BHSAHFADI think Jimmy is saying that there are screwdrivers which automatically load the next screw, like through a tube or something, and then spit it out the tip. That way, the worker doesn't have to pick up a new one with the magnetic tip every time. It's interesting that they don't use such technology, and it's fun to think about what the pros and cons of each solution might be. There's no need to be aggressive.
