Very nice sound! Plus, for the courtesy of you and others who view this, there are actually lyrics for this chime melody known as "Westminster" and they are below if you want to read them while listening or sing along. Lord, through this hour, be Thou our guide. So, by Thy power, no foot shall slide. These words are based on Psalm 37:23-24, where David the psalmist declares this: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand.
I think it’s a challenge on that Clock to lift the door up instead of opening it sideways like all others when you’re trying to move the hand to give us a list of what the chime sounds like but it has a beautiful sound. Very nice clock but I would like the ones with the door that Swings open sideways instead of you having to lift the door up because you have to hold the door up yourself in order to wind it or set the time on it. But it’s a beautiful clock though
Manufacturers used the term "regulator" rather loosely. It was good for sales! A true regulator should be weight driven and non striking.whilst the pendulum ought to be of the 1 metre long "seconds beating" type. True regulators are rather rare and expensive.
Very nice sound!
