@timmuurling4673 I doubt that the number of total products slows the speed, but it's the number of total products on a landing page. Try to limit the collection page products to under 30.
sorry the ul is there , its working on some products , but in other products it will show the same image on both variant, for example if i have a shoe in Black and Brown , it will show the shoe twice in collection , but both would have the image of the black , also on some products that we have only 1 color , it will show it twice in collection , i don't know if its because i am using version 9 or i did a mistake somewhere , if anyone can help

How about if you dont want to sort by "Color" by by some other Variant, for Example "Flavor"?

This worked, until i started adding more products and noticed duplicates products showing pointing to the same URL. Is there a fix for that? TIA
