Amazing and beautiful areas there, Leo. I'm lucky enough to live in the northeastern of Arizona, in a forest, close to fishing. It is quite the life. Thanks for sharing the adventures.
So beautiful & peaceful I could stay there for hours but not fishing. I don't have the patience for it. I would be aggravated if I didn't catch anything. I don't do real well with stuff that aggravates me. Beautiful camping spot good luck when you go fishing.
Well Leo, where there is life there will follow death which feeds life. You are correct in saying that you can't get away from it. That's quite a staircase they built to access the baby grave. Good job pointing out details. Thanks for the river camping tour. Love your little vehicle.✌♥️
Reminds me when I was growing up in wva and would camp and fish with my brothers and cousins later on I would take my kids and would fish and have a great time miss those days
Dang,, brought tears to my eyes.. beautiful! I grew up in the woods and by the river in Michigan. When you take us on an adventure like this I can feel it, it's good for the soul. Ty Leo, can't wait for the next adventure! Say hello to Heather for me.
My aunts & uncles and cousins lived right on the banks of Tug river in Lovely Kentucky. There was a swinging bridge that went over to my Aunt Lean house on the West Virginia side. During the floods the bridge n their homes where washed away. They would just rebuild. Family was coal minors & electricians in the mines. Family lived all over the place, Inez, Warfield , Naugatuck n so many more I can’t remember. Love watching your videos, brings back so many memories
Gorgeous scenery and the colour of the water = wow. Thanks for taking us along. Glad you're meeting up with Danny. That'll make a great video too. Thanks you two - keep them rolling.
Wow ! Sure amazing what 56 years can do to the nastiest river in East Kentucky . In 1967 as a Southern Bell lineman in a crew heading up a road north of South Williamson . We had the good fortune to wait in line , while a coal company blew a sludge pond off the top of a mountain . We were able to watch a wall of black sludge pour down the mountain , hit the road , trees and all , and crash into the Tug River . Bet that killed some fish I said to a road employee , naw , reckon not , last fish in that river floated up after the last time it caught fire . This is a true story .
She's about as clean as it gets these days. I'm sure there were a few isolated incidents and accidents from time to time, but with no real industry nearby, It didn't do too much damage to recover from.
There may be a few of those too. Luckily, It never did bother me much. I can rip it off a wall with my bare hands and not catch it. Heather on the other hand, probably just now got it, from us talking about poison ivy... lol
@@thehillbillyfiles Airboats , interesting . Yeah , here in Michigan we have different kinds of State owned land , other than Parks . That people can hunt and fish on . Wildlife areas' and such . Thanks for the answer .. gubs
One of my favorite sites in the matewan area. Beautiful area.
WOW!! Love these fishing spots you've found. Beautiful...makes me want to move to WVA

Some beatiful spots. Did you ever fish at the mouth of Chattaroy? We had good luck there when I was growing up. Thanks Leo for another great video.
Yes, I have fished there. 🙂
You need a little flat bottom boat that would be great
Holy Moly! It’s beautiful! But I’m thinking great place for snakes. And then everyone’s favorite. “Mosquitoes “

A lot of garbage, what a shame but still looks beautiful
Just think what it would look like if people kept their garbage out of the river!!!
Beautiful country. A cabin by the river. Couldn't be any better.

I thought it was known as the Becky turn hole as well
Hate to see people leave trash at a beautiful pristine place! Take it with you people! Love y'all's videos down here in North Carolina.
Thank you, and I agree 100%!!
Is he going to metal detect too? Probably bullets and horseshoes there? I enjoy nugget noggin and aquachigger's river hunts.
I think Aunt Betty’s home is on a beautiful location. Thanks for the view.
That looks like a LOT of poison ivy to me 😉
There may be a few of those too. Luckily, It never did bother me much. I can rip it off a wall with my bare hands and not catch it. Heather on the other hand, probably just now got it, from us talking about poison ivy... lol
@@thehillbillyfiles Lucky you!! I wish that was me. I know Heather’s pain.

Is there much access on the tug for fishin
Quite a bit yes
Nobody uses a boat on the Tug ? How about Tic's , and is that state land ?
There's a airboat, some small boats once a blue moon. State land? I think it belongs to pike county KY, not 100 percent
@@thehillbillyfiles Airboats , interesting . Yeah , here in Michigan we have different kinds of State owned land , other than Parks . That people can hunt and fish on . Wildlife areas' and such . Thanks for the answer .. gubs
poison ivy, snakes, hidden bodies........lol
I love your videos I and I love the stories ! Where is Heather? I hope she is ok
I'm fine! We don't do all videos together. Sometimes the other has something to do. Thanks for asking 😊
Need to carry you a machete or a weed sickle with you
That sounds like work... lol
