As a indian living in west for years , I can appreciate everything the workers are doing. If the company and have all these machines and technology they can easily make guards for the moving parts. And the ladies should not wear saree..very dangerous . They are lucky going home without losing the arm and legs..

It is mostly a social occasion for the women. Otherwise it is a mind numbing job. Most of the jobs available to women and men are mind numbing unless you work in a trade.

Every body is talking about automation and cleanness, do you know what you are eating, where the food is cultivate, for example in urban areas you are eating vegetables from garbage water , you eating chicken from broiler/farm, that chicks are grown with the help of chemical food and injected steroids, do you know that, some one say that potato chips, do you know where the potato's are cultivated? and most important which polluted air are breathing? i say strongly your breathing air is 60% pollution (how much polluted particles in PPM), but in villages their breathing oxygen is 95% clean, they eating food is chemical free grown in their fresh farm, And one more thing really they don't know ENGLISH pronunciation and definitions, they never go to world tour or industrial examinations for which is fully automated, which semi automated, so they are working for family maintenance but not earning money in $ or Euro's , There is no Industrial development in This Country Villages, Please let them wish for improvement, This comment is not criticise any one this is just for know the facts about their life.. Oh I do like the work ethic that Indians have but one thing that really bugs me is that nobody thinks of improving any aspect of the manufacturing process. I bet this has been going on for many many years in the same way, but nobody has thought about improving the process or safety. You will find this sort of small scale operations all over India 🇮🇳 even with food, in fact particularly with food, the street foods look so tasty but the operations almost always dirty and unhygienic . I just wish that they would learn from other countries and cultures about cleanliness and safety. Other countries like China 🇨🇳, Thailand 🇹🇭 do things so much better, I am not talking about hi-tec just cleaner and safer. Make it so it is a pleasant environment for the workers. Anyway I am an Indian living in the west and it’s just an observation. I am not disrespecting the people who are working there.
You can do it. if this is like this it must be a reason, look a what they make and with what they make it, it's not a super profit business, they don't earn a lot either, just enought to eat. You can make a better world for them, you can give then money or go there to make the changes by yourself. there's even the adress in the video description! How can they learn if nobody show them? do you think they have internet? do you think they have conputers tvs and nice little cooking robots like you? they don't have all that. they have water and they are happy with just it. How old is this video? I am assuming it is 30 to 40 years ago. Very unhygienic process also, no gloves and cap to cover the hair. If this is a modern video, then it is a disgrace to their country as it represent the country’s living standard.
