Honestly just sitting in a boat with endless fog surrounding you sounds calming, slowly laying down on the flopr and looking up at the fog that comforts your presence, then i can lay a tear for my past and the hate and guilt i have.

Out of all the Silent Hill inspired ambiences out there, this one is exemplary. Maybe because the endless rowing, the atmosphere, the melody plus ambience, I couldn't tell you. It just transcends both my mind, and emotions somewhere else...

How many people Rowed their way towards that impossible Light for over an hour! I also have to nominate the control system for operating the boat as perhaps the worst on a PS2 game. Then again, they purpopsely designed it that way just to mess with us Psychologically so in reality it is Genius LOL

@@antigloboshlomoyes we can assume this based on all water evidence within the game and outside of the game parameters , but the writer of Silent Hill 2, Hiroyuki Owaku, has never made an official statement regarding a canon ending. If you have proof, please provide. I’m not disagreeing, but it has never truly been stated. This has been a huge debate across the community since release. We may never have the actual answer.
