Must use the proper welding technique for shear studs welding. Normal Arc-welding cannot be used. Drawn-arc stud welding is an extremely efficient method of attaching fasteners primarily to mild steel and stainless steel by utilizing a constant-current DC power supply, typically a 3-phase transformer-rectifier, equipped with integral controls to operate a special drawn-arc stud welding gun.
The point of stud welding is to achieve a full penetration weld (instantly and requiring no great welding skill). To achieve the same MIG welding you would have to taper the stud and multi-pass weld it. Even then it wouldn't be as effective.
It looks nice!
Thank you
can you please give detail of test hammer weight impact etc details for testing actually i dont know the actual data for that
You could find the relevant standards in the internet.
hello, one cuestion, Is the BEND TEST FOR SHEAR STUDS made until they cool?
Nope.
Can these studs we welded on with normal arc welder?

Studs could be fillet welded using prequalified processes such as FCAW, GMAW & SMAW as per AWS D1.1 Section 7.5.5.
