During the AM Rush Hour, some (2) Trains Begin service @ New Lots Avenue
I'm watching the 2 channel. I can't talk right now because I'm watching it 2
Nice! That's a longer ride than if it was out of Flatbush Avenue.
2 train really gotta be the second longest route even when it goes to the regular terminal at Flatbush after the A train
especially if you count it’s local stops at night
@@perrrofrrredy for real man
The 5 is the third longest route
@@therailfanenthusiast8766 nah ion think so, if you ask me i’d say something like the D train or the 4 train when it’s nighttime making all local stops, after either of those 2, then the 5 train
@@therailfanenthusiast8766 5 train is express in legit every borough it goes through
You should do a 4 train ride from New Lots Avenue to Woodlawn AM Rush hour
The 2 train is the a division version of the A train

Nice💯 I would really like them to add a (5) going to New Lots during the rush hour. Both the (2) and the (4) have specials that begin and terminate at New Lots but the (5) only has 2 trains that begin at New Lots, not one that terminates. There are some that end at Crown Hts late night and head to the yard and if the crew is nice, they would extend to New Lots but that don't count.
I do too. As a resident of East New York, more service is needed. 8 minute headways on the 3 line is not enough during rush hour. Also, during the PM rush, when the 3 trains are delayed, you could wait up to 25 minutes at Utica Avenue. That problem could be potentially eliminated if the 5 trains that end at Utica Avenue during PM that are sent for layups terminated at New Lots Avenue.
you should add brackets if you're talking about the train line i.e (2) but if you're just talking about a number you don't have to add the brackets do it so that people don't get confused
There are a small number of 5 trains that terminate at New Lots Avenue during the AM.
However, what’s really needed is a service restructuring. With two new switches at Rogers Junction, you can have the 2 and 3 terminate at Flatbush Avenue, the 4 train terminate at New Lots Avenue, and the 5 train terminate at Utica Avenue. More frequent and smoother service for all.
@@Bklynkid52 The other option is to simply deinterline the Rogers Junction entirely. Two new switches (rebuilding the whole thing won’t be worth it) would allow for all 2 and 3 trains to terminate at Flatbush Avenue, and all 4 trains make the local stops to New Lots Avenue and all 5 trains terminate at Utica Avenue on the express tracks. It would provide more frequent and faster service on the outer ends of the line while Broadway-7th Avenue riders have more even service, reducing delays.
@@TheRailLeaguer During the AM Rush, there are no scheduled 5 trains that run TO New Lots Avenue. They only run FROM New Lots Avenue. During the PM Rush, they only run to/from Utica Avenue. The AM Rush hour service is fine, actually. It’s the PM Rush that has to be worked on. Only 2 trains start service from New Lots Avenue. 4 and 5 trains only start service from Utica Avenue, including the trains that are put-ins from New Lots Yard. 4 and 5 trains that are layups to New Lots Yard end at Utica Avenue and terminate on track 1. My issue is that if they’re going to do that, why not just run them in service to New Lots Avenue?

Can't you make friends with the motorman, or get a permit/waiver from the NYCTA to film out the front of the driver's cab ?? I can't see the tunnels or tracks worth a damn. I see the passengers and the glare off the windows. Aarre Peltomaa

Cool
R 142 3 train would be so cursed imagine that
It exists. And it is cursed.
nice
If the Mta replace the Rollsigns for the 3 train they could keep it but they decided that was not going to work instead they want to replace it.
So the Mta is going to scrap the R62 car can’t do anything about it.
