You're lucky, my mother never made Angel Food Cakes--she did get us the store-bought ones and I always loved them. The first homemade one I ever had was when I was in my late 20s or early 30s. Our preacher's wife made it, and It was SO GOOD!

It is easy to make...soaked the vanilla beans I purchased off Amazon which I just soaked in vodka for a few weeks, now if and when i need too I add more vodka. the hardest part about it for me was going in the liqour store. lol

No we dont spray the pan...just put the egg white batter in it. You will have to use a knife to release it from the side after its baked.
