- Minecraft 1.20 is the newest update to Minecraft and in the latest snapshot 23w15a, the trail ruins was added in it's entirety (that we know of) and so that left me wondering, what is the story of the trail ruins and so in this video Faberistry dives deep into the lore behind the trail ruins as well as the reason that they are in ruins! So I hope you enjoy this Minecraft 1.20 lore video!

So basically the lore of the calibrated sculk sensor was that the ancient villagers who lived in that bunker underneath the sculk wanted to unlock new technology to defend against the warden. They used the calibrated sculk sensor as a form of security to detect certain vibrations such as the villagers footsteps. They also used it as a form of communication with other cities because the calibrated sculk sensor was more effective than long term redstone which took up more resources. The amethyst required to make the calibrated sculk sensor is effective due to the fact that they both are good used in vibrations; for example, amethyst produces sound when walked on similar to the sculk sensor. What I mean is that they are both good for vibrations. Evidence of my lore is shown from the lecturns found in ancient cities in the underground bunker which because lecturns are used to change the vibrations of the calibrated sculk sensor, which the ancient villagers may have done in order to make their technology even more advanced. Tell me what you think about my lore.

How the Trail Ruins covered by sand and gravel that's not make any sense ? , because in that area is just dirt and stone blocks.
They removed that feature so now it's just dirt and gravel...
So now it better matches the environment...

Im new to this channel, and ik this is a bit of a hot take, but as a person invested in cinematography, I would recomebd toning down the camera movement a bit. I get the dramatic feel you're going for, but the fast pace and quick camera angle shifts make it feel a bit disorienting tbh. If you're actually reading this, then I hope you dont take this as an insult, and instead take this as some cobstructive criticism.
