What is it about all these older generations talking about how 'the young' today 'decaying' society? To me, it says more that young people in Britain today are moulding a society where people can speak out against violent paedophile gangs in parliament, hospitals & institutions. Young people (teens & 20s) are also drinking & smoking far less than past generations, despite the media ramming this idea that all youngsters are binge drinkers down our throats. The middle aged so quick to criticise the young still drink & smoke more often than young people in Britain. Drug usage is also falling much faster among those aged 16-24 compared with 'older' groups. More youngsters than ever going on to further education. Another 'media myth' is teenage pregnancies - They are at the lowest % since records began in 1969. Fact is, people who are 40s & 50s now (the irresponsible, punk generation) caused all these 'problems'.
i think it is wrong of vicki when she is telling everyone to let her finish talking, but when other people are talking, she's interupting them all the time and when she is telling charlotte to "respect her because she's 45" but then later on talking shit about her to her self. giving is receiving and the old one isn't giving any of it.
