Girl group FIESTAR returns after a long year break. This time, in their second mini-album [A Delicate Sense], FIESTAR ladies express the complicated emotions of going through a relationship.
Yezi, FIESTAR's rapper, became an icon of "girl crush" for her charismatic rapping skills shown on the survival program "Unpretty Rapstar". Then, another member, Cao Lu began to receive much spotlight for her appearances on different TV shows. Now, FIESTAR as whole will wow us all with their second mini-album [A Delicate Sense].
The title song "Mirror" is a synth pop genre track about the sorrows of breaking up. The members portray the emotions from a break-up in a rather mellow, not too dramatic way. The honest lyrics, from honest thoughts after looking in the mirror, sung in the members' charming voices, sound sentimental and even sexy.

i love that feeling when you decide to listen to underrated groups just for a change and find out their music is amazing and suits your taste more than the public-friendly, pop songs that bigger, well-known groups tend to put out

Fiestar also has a former member, Cheska, who left the group in 2014.
Linzy co-wrote the title song (Mirror), Hyemi co-wrote Mr. Black and Back and Forth, and Yezi wrote all of her raps in every song on the mini album.
They debuted in 2012 and their fandom name is Let*s! Fiestar fighting!!

Since Daiso is a Japanese-based store, I try my best to look for Japanese music but most official songs are either copyrighted or they're short versions. So I added K-Pop and American pop to make the playlist a little inclusive. And I started adding C-Pop a little because of Jolin Tsai ~

Can you believe that the baddass rapper with that killer stare is the same woman who sings to Home? An underrated hyper-talented Queen the world don't deserve.
I like the neutral color scheme, with the splash of colors from the flowers, lips and clothing. It was really well done. Excellent vocals, and that rap verses were smooth like silk. Choreography and beat were really cool, 10/10 this has sated my Fiestar expectations, would watch again.

This MV feels like a continuation of "You're Pitiful." Similar atmosphere, and it especially hit me when they showed a scene of one of the girls holding up a lipstick as if to put it on in the mirror. There was a scene where the guy does the same thing in "You're PItiful."

Wow, FIESTAR's new comeback is really great! It had me hooked on the first 8th of the song! I really quite like their sombre concepts like this and "You're Pitiful".
This is the song that got me into Fiestar and is still my favorite song from them. I found them by sheer luck just looking for underrated girl groups with unique concepts and I wasn't disappointed. This song is my cup of tea. The atmosphere makes it possible for you to either jam to it (maybe not like you would with Bang bang bang but still), cry, take a moment to look at the window and look at the sunset with this song playing on low volume or even read. My favorite voice has always been Jei's even if she isn't a strong vocalist I love her tone and Yezi was the one who got me even further with her solo songs. The disbandment was sad but honestly not unexpected, we all saw it coming. They never got the attention they deserved and their company made a weird move with their last comeback. This album is the one I liked the best because it's chill yet every songs are catchy. We will miss you Fiestar and hopefully see you all again in future solo projects.

Loen has all the resources for a company to push their artist to gain more attention and love + Fiestar has 2 members that are publicly well known with positive image, if they can't make Fiestar rise now, they will never be able to.
