I literally hopped off a zoom therapy appointment where I was talking about how I need to start being consistent with journaling and affirmations again to build self worth and how I need to stop being so avoidant….. and then I saw this podcast title 😳
Late to the party, but Lindsey seemed especially locked in this episode. As much as I enjoy chaotic, free-flowing Lindsey... I'm into it. Love how she conveyed the worth of journaling. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

YES CORNELL NOTES were the death of me. All through high school they thoroughly taught us how to do it and then that was the only acceptable way for all homework there after. Homework would be read this chapter and take Cornell notes.

Journaling is something I've heard about to help get my emotions out but never really tried however, after watching this will be a new excerses I will add to my morning routine.

Rewatch on NOTEBOOKS In Sweeney's class, Sweeney talks about (Dmitri) Mendeleev, Ned happens to draw in the notebook where Ned is holding a tiny Sweeney. All of a sudden, Sweeney told Ned that he hasn't done his work in his class when Ned says he hasn't done the work in ANY class. Sweeney shows Ned the Golden Notebook aka Sam Golden. If Ned's notebook looked like that, he'd stay a chance at passing. Later, Ned walked Moze on down to the locker saying that the Golden Notebook is amazing without the lameness or Sweeney-ness. Moze says steal it. Ned says he's gonna borrow. Steal bad, borrow good. So that way Sweeney can't say no and Ned will return that notebook after the test. All of a sudden, Moze lost her notebook and she's going through it all about losing a notebook. Ned finds Cook with extension cord plugins and Cook has to show Ned about the recordings so that way he doesn't take another note again and on top of that, he doesn't have to carry the heaviest electrical equipment known to man. Cook asks when you are stealing the Golden Notebook when Ned says Borrow. Moze searches and found a notebook about SC innermost thoughts. So as the lost and found comes up, Moze found her notebook. Cook sits in class with the record and with the fake glasses tactic so that way he can sit back and snooze. Now, Ned and Gordy are in the vents. The game plan for Ned is to swap the notebook so that it's all duplicate. Gordy says no, but has caramel covered apples with nuts to celebrate a job well done but decides to get Ned doing the job mission impossible style but dropped him immediately. What's even more hilarious is that rather than Sweeney, it was Martin who came through and greeted a hanging Ned. All this time, the door was unlocked. Should've just gone in the door normally. Take 2, Gordy tries to swing Ned for the notebook, but breaks every jar in the lab and all, Ned finally got the notebook and escaped in due time after the switch. Claire and Lisa asked Moze about what she was reading. One of the rumors of Lisa was her stealing money out of Durga's purse when Claire's rumor was she made out with Billy. So much for S.C. Innermost Thoughts. Now as soon as Moze found out a page turner about her saying that Jennifer (aka Moze) was all stuck up, the first thing in mind happens to be Suzie Crabgrass. As Ned goes through the Golden Notebook to open it up, his speech impediment goes through a comedy full of errors. Martin would ask if he could repeat what he said because he's running out of record of the tech farm, changed out of that VHS tape, Loomer runs up to him and saw that C.H. (Being Coconut Head) hated his guts. So Loomer goes to Coconut Head and kicked his butt. Eventually everybody got together and saw Suzie to get after her while Cook dances around with the butterfly net. Ned continues to go through the Golden Notebook to make sure he's ready for the test. Cook opens up a locker a mountain full of VHS tapes. Tip montage -- pretty basic and all. Martin is tired of studying for the upcoming history test all night. As if Cook is doomed. Throughout the chase of the S.C. by the angry mob, all apologized to Suzie because the accusations were not true when it was written years ago. So Loomer ends up picking her up at 8. As the test comes by, Cook cleaned out all the tapes, Ned got caught by Sweeney Mission Impossible style but decided to trick the guy because it wouldn't be another boring assignment. So as Ned learned his lesson, got an A on the test and to celebrate would be that same Caramel apple, and then a good ol CGI spin to end the episode.

I never took notes in school, I could never keep up with the teacher either talking or writing on the board. They would always move on or erase the board before I was halfway through. I still got A's and B's in all classes except Math. Dunno how, but I did.
Who the hell is cornell and why did he get to name a basic structure style after himself (i remember cornell notes i just always hated that there was a name for it)
