Tanjung Karang Ride | Soaking Wet | Raining | Friendship Ride | Lanun | 4 Aug 2024 | 125km | Denai

We planned to do fondo ride to Bagan Lalang before but somehow we have to postponed it since couple of our group members unable to make it. So I suggested to Pakya to ride to Warong Burung at Tg Karang. It is about 125km and the route gonna be flat. So it will be heat training since the weather last couple of days are hot and humid. Started with 4 of us but suddenly we gather around 11 cyclists.
It was nice weather in the morning since it rain before in the early in the morning. We rode from Denai to Bestari Jaya with nice cool breezy weather. We stopped at Caltex gas station for quick toilet break and refuel. Suddenly the dark clouds slowly built up. We quickly resume the ride but unfortunately Mimi had a puncture and have to stay a bit longer to change the inner tube. The rain starts pouring before we resume our ride. We just continue the ride in heavy rain and Mimi got her second puncture. We need to stop again to change the tube.
Then we continued the ride in the rain till Tg Karang. We had our brunch but the rain still heavy. So we have no choice to slowly ride back to Denai. It was quite dangerous for us since the road conditions during heavy rain. Not many video during our ride in the rain. So alhamdulillah we reached Denai safely soaking wet. Definitely need to send out bike for service.
