I know this is an older video, but we will be there Tuesday! And so I watched this one again to get an idea how to shop. We’ll need to buy groceries right away. Mostly meat and cheese and eggs. But I wondered about bottled water…..is it available? And carbonated water?
Frankly, EUR 200 (or US $440 a month) is less than half of what we spend for a family of four in the United States. And just like your groceries, ours include nice to have items, not just rice and beans. Good to know. Very useful video!
In comparison to the United States yes it’s significantly lower but when you take into consideration minimum wage out here, I think the groceries are still overpriced I honestly don’t know how others do it luckily we have the farm to subsidize the cost Most of our meats and eggs come from the farm and during growing season we also get a lot of vegetables from the farm as well I think farming is the way to go out here even if it’s just a small farm

We raise our own meat and eggs we get some vegetables from the farm but hope to produce much more this season

Do you ever go to the Emater Empresa cash and carry? Prices seem to be very good there more like a wholesale for restaurants
No I actually haven’t been there but some of my family has and they have good things to say about it

The Nescafe coffee is 8.28€ that's 12.18 Canadian, but I see that I can get a bottle of wine under 3€. Wine for breakfast it is😂😂😂😂😂
