GK is the position that really shows the difference in athleticism between men and women in my opinion. Sure, outfield women players look like they're running through mud, but GK's are always just so clumsy and uncoordinated. The jumping, diving, and reaction times of male GKs is almost super-human. If you've ever seen an untrained man playing goal, and how lost and uncoordinated they are, well that's what professional female GKs typically look like.
Yeah as a goalkeeper seeing women goalkeepers not dive like us men is so awkward I dive and jump pretty high and I’m only 5’7 and these women are taller than me and have less hops
I won't dispute what you say. So let's agree there is a deficit in coordination, agility, power, explosiveness, etc. Now consider the avg height of women GKs at high competitive levels. Now think of Courtois, Neuer, Alisson, Emi Martinez are at 6'4" or taller. I think the Chile women's GK is 6ft. She is about the tallest, yet she and every one shorter have to defend the same size goal. Just saying.
@dipthongthathongthongthong9691 Right, but it's not about height; it's about the athleticism, or lack thereof. They just look so awkward (akin to when a guy with no GK training tries to play there). Ochoa is only 6ft tall. Typically, the shorter players are MORE agile, not less. I expect Ochoa has faster reaction times than Courtois (who makes up for his slower reactions by being HUGE).
@@toddmacadam3888 I'd say it's about the athleticism AND the height. I agree, the traits you've mentioned are missing in many of the women GKs. Being short relative to the frame of the goal doesn't help. If you're an above avg athlete but you have height and a wing span you are taking up more space and thus will have a better chance at reaching incoming shots. Victor Valez and David Ospina are barely 6ft and they had pretty good careers too. But I read that academies around the world see the 6'3 and good with the ball at the feet as the prototype. Anyone who’s played, male or female, knows that’s far from the truth. The conflict arises when this is upheld as professional standard. It’s not yet, but give the women’s game time to develop at all levels, and senior elite women will get to a reasonable standard, albeit physical differences will always differentiate it from the men’s elite game.
Nothing beats the GK who dives when the ball is already in the net or the one standing beside the goal instead if in front of it and then diving and hitting the outside of the net.
You should include Jordan Pickford letting in 2 goals against France in the World Cup. He screams like a girl too... ouch!!
The thumbnail describes the video perfectly 👌
women be like "we want equal pay" lol
0:59 for f*** sake man 😂
I can't understand anyone paying their hard earned cash to watch football of that standard.
The duck noise is glorious
Well, we can make a video of male GK as well. The one in green probably had the sun on her face, look a5 the shadows.
Some of those are worthy of the great Alan Rough
I think what we saw was just some woman athlets calling out a strike because they want equal payment 😂
I can't get over the size of the crowds at these games 😂😂
kitchen is waiting🤣🤣
Does that comment make you feel tough or like a big man? So sexism isn't going away any time soon I see.
@@sekulrtsnfnugg6126 it's not a sexism. just actual fact
@@NecromancerXardas yeah it's sexism. It's a fact that discussions needs more thought behind them. No wonder comments like the one you wrote are still being posted when no one is actually spending time thinking through stuff. So again, are you just trying to feel tough?
Thanks for making me laugh
Women's footy is very funny
As a former goalkeeper, I have nothing to say except my huge respect for these young ladies! We have seen where more curious goals from a man multimillion-dollar goalkeepers. Don't give up and don't put your head down, girls! You are beautiful and brave!
I played for 4 years at Sunday league level. Never witnessed a single mistake by amateur keepers as bad as any of these except once when a keeper went to pick his cap up during play
We hope a better quality when equal pay in force.
Plenty of videos of male goalkeepers making similar mistakes. 🙄
yeah, we know that. this video isn't just offending against women's football/soccer (kinda obvious hence the channel name). at the moment of the fail on some clips, it shows what should've been corrected. if you're also trying to offend against men's football/soccer, look up "pro women football players lose to teenagers" and "60-year-old man vs pro women football players"
Of course women was writng that
Goalies are usually the stars of the show in women's football. If only male goalies were this entertaining.
One of the best (or worst) moment is at 3:14, first she hits the ball as a defender instead of catching the ball with the hands and then the ball pass between the legs 🤡🤡🤡🤡. The other one is at 4:20 when the goalkeeper open the legs as saying: Score here! . Always I think that people who play as a goalkeepers could have a dosis of masochism hidden in their minds 😆😆😆.
3:14 is a back pass the goalkeeper is not allowed to pick the ball up with her hands. Are you sure you know how football works?🤡
you are right, but catching the ball with hands would be better than she did. It is an indirect free kick but the defense could re-organize. The puritanism of football doesn't work in many times.
I can't tell how many of these clips are from lockdown and how many just have no fans
How on Earth could these commentators still stay that serious???
It's the commentators. They just turn a blind eye to it.
Female goalkeepers are comedy gold.
Love the Mr. Bean music at the start...
I find this video sexist. Many of the mistakes could have happened to males. Failure to secure the ball does not make the goalkeeper stupid.
Claramente es una cuenta incel que solo ve a las mujeres como un objeto sexual, pero es verdad que a la liga inglesa le falta que se vea más profesional, exceptuando Chelsea, Arsenal y Manchester City, a las demás les falta.
It said ‘1’ Reply, I couldn’t find the Reply!!! Did it get lost and went some place else?!?! ❤😂🎉❤😂🎉❤😂🎉
If these mistakes happened in men football, the goalkeepers would be:
1. Sent to the bench
2. Loaned out or Sold to lesser clubs
3. If no club want them, they get their contracts terminated
The fact that many of these women goalkeepers are still trusted to have their job clearly shows the difference between men football and women football.
Are you not the 1 reply@@philuriarte2728
I played as a GK for several years until probably until 12 or 13 and I do remember one game in particular that I may as well just have stayed home. Couldn’t stop anything that day but the lowest IQ play was similar to 0:45 but I didn’t attempt to stop with hands. I closed only my knees and ball went between legs and into the net. Soon after I was taken out rest of game. I was able to keep my position as GK rest of the season but stopped playing after that.
What an absolute belter of a story there!!
GK is the most difficult position
This is actually the reason people go and see women’s soccer. To have some good laughs at the cringe fails 🎉
The people in this comments section clearly don’t remember the 1990s where you could go out and buy compilation videos of male goalkeepers from the premier league and other top leagues having spills exactly like this.
give them all the money they want.hahahahahahaha
and they want to pay the same as messi 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is almost as bad as Messi plays 😮
