If you drive off and rip the gas line/pump off like that, even just once, you should have your drivers' license revoked permanently.

The problem is a lot of these situations happen when "customer lives in a state where they pump your gas for you but is visiting a state where you have to pump your own gas"
A lot of these customers in the state where they pump your own gas for you, they like to go inside and get snacks and stuff while their gas is getting pumped.
After a while it just becomes muscle memory and you just expect the pump to get hung up by the attendant.
Whoa now. I'm a professional driver and I made that mistake once in my second year of driving. I was lucky though since those diesel pumps seemed to be engineered to handle that. The hose detached from the pump at a specific point that I was able to just attach it back once I saw what I did.
My wife told me to be more in touch with my feminine side. So I crashed the car.

Yeah and many of those men who get in accidents and sometimes die is because a woman causes the accident to begin with many times because they can't put their cell phones down, talking, texting, taking selfies, putting makeup on etc. they are self absorbed menaces on the road who, like in these videos, can't seem to tell the difference between the brake and the gas! Also those stats don't tell you that men also drive far more than women, whether driving as part of their jobs or otherwise, so of course it is going to look like they are in more accidents because men drive more than women. You are correct. on down hill some press accelerator but you only have to release break slowly, if you need littlespeed if path is clear then give some gas smoothly, only press accelerator when up hill coz its harder for the car to lift up when you do go up control the amount. On level roads you dont need to press accelerator while backing or moving with slow speed when you are clear to go then push the accelerator smoothly.
The biggest mistake is that they drive with high heels and expect to be able to react in an appropriate time

Years ago (1988) while I was taking a 3 day orientation course for a nationally-known trucking company, their safety instructor informed us that trucking companies liked hiring women (who passed the risk management portion of the class) because women tended to be more cautious when behind the wheel of big rigs....they are not as prone to taking chances. Not true these days, I'm afraid...we are way too involved with our freaking cellphones.

How can you forget the refueling pistol?
Maybe in other countries it works differently.
In countries around where I go (also in my homeland), you get the fuel, return the pistol back (which makes it possible to bill it), go to the shop, pay and return into your car. If the pistol is not returned back, it can not be paid and that place is blocked for any other user.
Sometimes gas pumps are pre-pay. You select how many $ of gas you want before refueling ($10, $20, $50), then you pay at the pump, and only then you can start refueling the car. Also, there is a pin which holds the trigger down so you don't need to press it to refuel, so sometimes people leave the nozzle and forget to put it back.
These kinds of pumps are common in the US
Maybe it's those pins mentioned above but I've not seen those here, dunno about the pistol holder but you still have to keep the trigger pressed even with the prepaid ones
Where is that? I have never seen a detachable gas pump pistol. Where I live it's the air gauge/filler thingy for tires you have to go inside the gas stations to fetch. The air is provided free as a service but people kept stealing the thingy for use at home when it was left outside.

We are also required to report all spills and it will be dealt with in pools full of bacteria degrading all types of oils (not expensive).
Here in brazil, we cannot refueling by our selves. Over here, every single gas station have a lot of employees. So, it's impossible to happen something like that

Being a still living motorcyclist for over fifty years I learned early to never assume a women is going to yield for your right-of-way. Yielding r.o.w. is the first thing they un-learn after passing their license test. Also, you could remove wing mirrors from a woman's car and she'd never know they were missing.

What I believe it is, its because its all quiet new to us. As it will become a norm more woman will take interest to driving and cars from younger age. The time I think man might still be better is their ability to work quick and efficient under emergency situations. I feel we girls struggle to make good decision under "fire". We need to cool down than we can make good decisions. So lets say if I went into a skid my brain most likely would start switching off wanting for the situation to end not actually assessing the environment and picking up the least damage option. But the way to get better at something is to do it. So we shall keep driving.

I think women drivers are too preoccupied with whatever going on in their mind when they are driving. My woman is the same, leaving cooking pots, pans, kettles on the stove and went on to do something else. And this happened constantly, we threw away so many cookware items to the trash. I keep on wonder when she is going to burn our house down.

03:10 I'm kind of shocked that petrol/gas pumps in the US are designed so that you don't need to keep hold of them while you pump.....why is this? In other countries (e.g. European ones) this design does not exist because it is HUGELY unsafe...aside from the stupidity of the woman who drives off with pump still attached there have been lots of incidents where people have got back in their cars, used their phone or created a static charge while sitting down and caused an explosion or fire which only gets worse because the gas keeps on flowing!

That first video is a way I was in an accident. If there's a road with more than 1 lane going the same direction, don't be a tard and stop and let someone through while not knowing what's coming up in the lane next to you.
I usually let the person know that there is still in coming traffic.
The First Lady didn’t see the biker and he was going way too fast for the scenario…blocked vantage point due to that van.
She did a lot to get that Range Rover and was just getting some payback for the nasty taste it left in her mouth.
At least she was apologetic and considering they both seemed calm the situation probably went smoothly afterwards

I'm a woman that actually drives as a full-time occupation. And believe me, I'm paid to do and know more than just the basics. LOL. However, I can't really say that women are terrible drivers and men are terrible drivers. But I won't say guys are any better. My boyfriend can beat on and destroy his own truck all he wants. Sure. It's his truck. But when the day comes that it finally hates him enough to never want to start again, he certainly will not be getting his hands on the keys to mine! 🤭

@@nathanbedfordforrest9546 well, if that were so true, then I'm sure the greater majority of school bus drivers in the United States wouldn't currently be made up of women. Yet 85% of the school buses that are on our streets are driven by women, because they can be better trusted to get passengers from A to B safely.
Not only that, but right now men are the ones that have been flagged by insurance companies all across the country for a yielding higher percentages in speeding, drunk driving, grand theft auto and road rage. The difference between us is night and day. Men use motor vehicles as a means to prove thrmselves by just needlessly destroying them and endangering other people's lives. Women dont, which is why we pay way less for Auto insurance and are considered the safer and more "cautious" drivers on the roads these days. As far as distracted driving and cell phone use while behind the wheel, that's a problem among both genders that needs to be eradicated at some point.

Obviously deep down you know I’m correct but the lack of good women drivers has put you on the defense. And no sweetheart, it’s well established that women are more distracted on the road than men. Hmmm, something tells me if all women were truly this terrible at driving, then odds I wouldn't be sporting keys to both a truck and a motorcycle for myself. Meanwhile, my ex-boyfriend was recently arrested on drunk driving charges. He now has no license and nothing to drive (after getting into an accident that caused someone a head injury). What he has now is no driver's license and a 1-year probation. And the only key he gets to have on him is to a place with four walls and a door. Oh, "the irony!" Lol! 😄
Its been rumored that Mc Donalds gives driving licenses in every Happy meal ..
