I bowl on dry cliffed house shot... bone dry outside 5 and flying backends. 2H lefty, rev dominant. I do well with a Black Hammer at 4k, and a 5.25"x60 Magenta Rhino. Need a ball up when the dry cliff finally carries down a bit, and those 2 balls start missing the spot. I'm looking at the Kaboom, Fire Ball, Radioactive Vibe. Suggestions on a ball up from there, that isn't massively stronger?
You should really look into something like a Scorpion Low Flare. I am also a slightly rev dominate 2 hander and with what you are describing, a ball like the Low Flare would do wonders. Pearls with the HK22 are going to go sideways as soon as it hits the friction unless you are rolling it faster than 18-19 mph. The SLF would be a good compliment to the Rhino and give you some added versatility.
Man Nick I just dig the way your videos describes the ball and layout , and the numbers. A viewer gets a real video no hold on the video. Thanks bud and keep them coming
Hi Nick, i love your reviews, so much change and balls its impossible to keep up. When you do these reviews, can you mention if it's a good fit for usbc nationals shot, either team, doubles, or singles. Thanks
Great videos, Nick!!! Would you please describe the layout of your balls? I noticed you use an insert for the middle finger and not for the ring finger which I understand you want to release first your ring finger while still keeping the middle in at release but I also noticed your ring finger hole is way below for a "normal" layout. Is this due to a particular hand condition you have (which I don't see) or what is the purpose of this big difference? Do you also use unconventional or particular pitches for your layouts? Thank you and keep up the good work you do for us!!!

I pretty much stick to Hammer. Jumping back into bowling for the first time in a couple years for a 12 week session and the league prize fund is a new ball. I chose this one. I don't understand layouts (never was concerned over 38 years of bowling now) always went with the same layout. Pin above ring finger. Probably drill this out the same way. This looks like it could be the one to get me my second 300.
Hello Nick live your videos. Since watching you Ive learned quite a bit so i say thank you. So if off base just say so how does this compare to the new TRAK BALL CYPHER??? I think right it's has HK22 as well. Also I ordered 4 shirts from ya
Thank you Dennis! The Cypher is smoother and earlier while this one is longer and stronger backend. Ones HK22 solid this is Pearl but the additive packages really make them different reacting.

Just a quick question. I noticed u tuck ur pinky under. Do u recommend this? I’ve tried it a couple times. But it seems to weaken my wrist a little. Sorta like making me come around the ball more. Maybe I’ll firm up my wrist. Thanks in advance.
Hi I am 78 years young I am having trouble controlling 14lb balls what will be the difference in it hitting than 13lb same ball thanks Gordon p.s. really enjoy your reviewing on the ball s
Not much difference at all, the numbers are very close 13 vs 14. What you’ll notice is you’ll be able to throw it a little harder and get more rotation on the ball.
I have a twist thats to weak and hammer raw hbyrid thats to strong! I use 14 lb ball. What ball do you recommend. I have changed the surface on both balls.
Hey Nick. If you happen to know the C300 Spoiler Alert, how would you compare these 2? My fiancée's favorite ball is the Spoiler Alert. She's looking to replace it and i think Kaboom is a close replacement. Would you agree?

Great value for the beginning bowlers.

Kaboom or Fireball would be good choices. The Radioactive is a lot stronger than the specs suggest.
@@brunsnick Thank you for your input.
I like the fireball the most out of the choices, kaboom 2nd, vibe is strong in this scenario in my opinion

I appreciate that! Thank you.
Ball looked great when Ron Hickland Jr from CTD put 3000 surface on it.
Thanks Nick , think this will complement my authority solid pretty well. Keep up the great videos and reviews.
Great ball I might just get one

Doesn't the Oil pattern for nationals change? Plus you have burn, non burn. Hard to say.

The Kaboom looks like a good ball for time it would be used for. Here's an idea for the next shirt "crossing pins, trippin' 4's, it's what I do"
Hi - My question is what is the difference between Kaboom and the Messenger Powercor Pearl bowling ball?
Thanks - Ronnie
They’re pretty close overall. Same intent, choose the one you like the look of better. Messenger might be a touch more angular is all.

Is the entry speed the same as the speed showing on the score screen?
Yes
nicely done

I’ve always done it. Do I recommend it? It can help get more axis rotation but if it hurts or makes your wrist do weird things, then don’t do it.
Hey Nick-
How close do you have this vs. the new Messenger powercor Pearl black/gold?
Fairly close, the Kaboom goes a bit longer.

Maybe a NU Blue Hammer.
How would you compare this to the hammer hazmat?
This is milder motion.
Hey Brunsnick ... I'm friends with Ernie Schlegel and he would say I can't believe at 10 times when you leave at 8 pin
Great review as always. Do you bowl tournaments mate?
Not often no.
How close is this to the Cuda Pearl?
Pretty close, enough to probably be a replacement at this point.
Phil invented dead nuts! 😂
Nah uh
Am I the only one that used to love big hero 6?

Before my time with Columbia, sorry. Don’t know anything about it.
But by the numbers they’re almost the same. And the cover is just updated with HK22. 👍🏻
@@brunsnick appreciate the input. I noticed numbers wise, very similar. We will see if i can get around to gifting her one. Thanks as always!!
