I still remember the first time I saw giga bowser. I had spent years playing melee without a clue of his existence , and then when he suddenly popped up in the adventure mode I felt like satan had possesed my gamecube

Yeah. Sakurai said that as a kid he imagined bowser as a monstrous hulking demon king, and didn’t really like how modern bowser turned out so giga bowser was his take on him.

Man. Giga Bowser shocked the hell out of me as a kid. I was so confused.
Although his theme is genuinely super cool.

Giga Bowser is a true monster, it's good to have him as a boss back in Ultimate, but as a final Smash is totally different.
Especially, his song is epic! Although is similar what sounds in final destination of Melee.
That's because Giga Bowser's theme is just a distorted version of Melee's Final Destination.

Mario is primarily a children’s game, so having a giant demonic fire breathing turtle-dragon is probably not the best way to go
I liked his Brawl version better, the dark colors make him look more fiercer. Ultimate's version is more brighter

When your a kid the music is creepy and is meant to build suspense and if I fought Gita bowser as a little kid which I never did I would have nightmares

I like the Melee version best. Having him as an actual character you need to knock of the stage is much more intense and challenging than just whittling down his HP. Sure it means you can also gimp him a bit, but even that's harder to do than just hitting him a dozen times to kill him (or him being completely invincible but only around for a short time as a final smash).
Since 2001 as a secret boss to 2018 as not only a final smash but a boss once again

He'll never be as scary as the first time he appeared in Melee obviously, but still, what a beast. He looks more like Ganon than Bowser.

I remember the first time me and my best friend found Giga Bowser. We never did Adventure on medium or hard. Only very Easy because we wanted the trophies. So the events were always a challenge for us. When we got to the last event, we read the description and looked at each other. We said, Bowser, Ganandorf and Mewtwo? We can do that easy no problem. It wasn''t easy at all because that was our first meeting of Giga Bowser and we couldn;'t beat it. It took us almost a year, but I was able to beat that event with Yoshi.

Did anybody realize that in Smash 4 , Giga Bowser has the same animation's from Brawl's Bowser. This has also been carried on to Ultimate it's a nice detail to use older animation's from Brawl or hell even Melee.

Ultimate is my favorite, it looks like a graphically updated version of Melee, which was my favorite.

Event Match 51 is when I truly found the glory of Jigglypuff. It was also the event match that I cheesed rest on everybody and won with her.
Edit: Also neat detail I noticed from the transition of Brawl to Wii U trophy. In Brawl, Mario's body language implies that he is protecting Peach, but in the Wii U version, it looks like Peach is the one protecting Mario
I like it when Giga Bowser looks like a fierce armored dragon and that power looks like it modified this original form into an actual evil monster and yet he has some dragon-like appearance all over his body like his snout, his horns, his legs, and maybe his tail, his hair and his skin or maybe the entire body and I think that's how is he might look like in the real world just imagine that what he would look like in existence it would be awesome.

My first Smash game was Brawl and I had knowledge of Giga Bowser in Melee...but, it still made perfect sense what Bowser's Final Smash was because what does Bowser do when you defeat him in his main game series!? He comes back bigger and stronger for Round 2!

Out of all the Smash games Brawl's design of Giga Bowser looks the most creepiest. And I like it.
I always loved how in Giga Bowser's Brawl trophy Mario is putting himself in front of Peach protectively, then his Wii U trophy is almost the same except now Peach is shoving Mario out of the way and brandishing her frying pan. Always gave me a laugh.

It isn't as intimidating when bowser is just normally oversized in some of his fights. He needs to actually look terrifying like this version to add to his strength.

When I first played Melee, I didn't know that you could fight Giga Bowser, mostly because I didn't know the specific requirements. At first I thought his first appearance was Brawl, which was where I first saw him. Boy, is the internet a miracle.

Giga bowser was nerfed as a boss in ultimate because instead of having to fling him out of bounds like you normally would against other players, he has a healthbar.

Aigh, Imagine this, bowser can expand his size and make himself stronger, but for a limited time, thus giga bowser exist, but that ultimate's final smash, my guess is that he uses all the power to focus on the size instead of the durability, cause dear gawd, he's wayy bigger than the stage, but cause the focus is on the size, he can only hold it for few seconds, thus why he only punches once, that sounds cool, but it does goes against all mario's previous games though, cause he has been seen transforming his size fron time to time, wait, so is it giga bowser or just normal bowser?
