El Nido, Philippines ➖ The most recommended thing to do here in El Nido is an island hopping tour. So my dad and I decided to rent out a boat for $220 and go on an exciting day trip around the islands
The tour began at 8am as we set out from the main port of El Nido. Along the way, we were able to take in the breathtaking views of the different islands and admire the crystal blue waters. We stopped at some of the many small islands and beaches where we got to swim, snorkel and explore the unique ecosystems of the area. We then enjoyed red horse, coconuts and lunch on one of the islands before getting home before the weather turned!

@@edgarnapiza4667 yeah India is much more then taj mahal, the ladakh (mountain and snowy plains) and north eastern state (for cheery blossom and many beautiful cliffs) then ajanta and ellora ( most ancient cave in history) and thousand of different places.

I've been to big lagoon and camera won't do any justice how beautiful the place is when seen with naked eyes! You have to see it for yourself to appreciate the beauty of it! Crystal clear water! The clearest water I've seen so far!

The fish that you’re looking at is called a titan trigger fish. Now the thing is, it’s surprises me that that fish was so calm and even swam away as well. TTs are known to attack Divers and Snorklers. They don’t have razor sharp teeth to bite off a chunk, but they will chomp and pinch you. They are very territorial and easily aggravated if you come to close to whatever they might be protecting.

Hey Luke! That's one of my favourite places in the Philippines. Living in Ballarat, Victoria now. It is very cheap compared to AUD. Yes it rains in El nido but it won't last long so should be fine. Hope you enjoy your trip. Explore coron as well. Be careful with the jellyfish though.

I still prefer if you took the TAO EXPEDITION with your Dad it will be an absolute fun to be with new friends as you would be with more than 20 people of different foreign nationalities for 5 days spending time and sleeping on remote islands it really is an amazing experience for almost a little more than what you spend for a day island tour. The first time I visited El Nido in 2013, Small Lagoon and Big Lagoon were part of the same island tour. You can do kayaking from Small Lagoon all the way to Big Lagoon. That’s the best experience I ever had in El Nido.

That kind of boat has been around for thousands of years in Maritime Southeast Asia. Its the traditional boat design of Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
The ones with modern engines are obviously from the 20th century.
