    Thank you so much Philippe (and Jim!) for sharing this story. So articulate, clear about every step of the journey. Also your enthusiasm is contagious and inspiring to people needing that extra boost of confidence to keep on keeping on.

    Such an inspiring success story! Thank you Philippe and Jim. You gave so many examples of flare ups that I can relate to and how to handle them. Love your song technique- “Everything is A OK…!” I’m gonna come up with a tune like that for myself to help with rewiring my brain and distract from the tendency towards worry. 🙏🏼🇨🇦🍁✌🏽

    🎶Everything is A-OK! 🎶
    Phillipe! What a champion! I especially loved what you shared about how you savor training so much more now instead of it being so serious. What a gift. I’ve begun training again as well and I am inspired to pick up the barbell now even though I don’t feel as ready.
    Also what you shared about how symptoms jump topics and regions. My main symptom is dizziness but last 3 days it’s been buzzing hearing. I am now meeting this with messages of safety and your courage and playfulness has encouraged me that this is normal.
    Your impression of Jim at the end was so funny!
    Thank you to you both for these success stories. Onward ❤

    Wow another great success story!! I like the fact that he is an athlete I think we need more athletes to share their success stories!! I think exercise gets blamed way too often for so-called injuries that have nothing to do with the activity!! Anyway thanks for all the great work to do!!🏋️🏋️🥋🥋🥊🥊

    So good-unbelievable how we can feel so alone in this journey, yet out there literally at the same time as me Philippe you were going through the same thing! Back pain, spiritual journey, and finding deep meaning in it all. Incredibly helpful and inspiring video❤

    Hi Jim,
    I really enjoy your channel and hearing recovery stories for inspiration. I had a whiplash injury last August and have been diagnosed with atlantoaxial instability primarily from alar ligament damage and also some transverse ligament damage. I had stem cells injected into these ligaments 4 months ago and I know the process takes time but I live in constant pain from this structural damage but I still know how important the mind body connection is and wondering how much relief I can get through this approach considering the structural damage that is present.

      Can you explain the accident in more detail ??

      I was holding a 135 lb bullmastiff on a leash and he was playfully jumping at another dog and I felt him jerk my neck and I felt a sort of a snap and I knew immediately that it had done some damage but never dreamed to what extent and am connected to a FB group of people with cervical instability who have undergone the same procedure as I have with very similar symptoms. It’s a hard condition to diagnose without very specialized imaging.

      yes use these mindbody approaches as the brain (CNS) determines the level of sensitivity. Visualize the neck being completely fine and healed. See a future version of yourself as healed. Reduce fear worry and any catastrophizing. You can use somatic tracking in the present moment. And go back through the event in your mind to process any emotions/trauma around the event. Keep trusting it will heal up. Take care!

    Really appreciate the videos but the successtories are way to long to watch focused (add) i just wanna know what philip did to heal his pain

    I’m glad he’s better, but knee pain causing SI? Young, athletic, traveling, parents took him in. These are not serious issues.

    • @thepainpt
      @thepainpt  2 месяца назад +6

      Everyone’s issues are different. It’s best not to judge. The bottom line is that everybody’s suffering and his life was severely impacted from where he wanted to be and he’s now back doing it. That’s the important thing. If you have a neuroplastic condition, you’re able to change it and get back to your life.

    • @HS-1828

      @@thepainpt apologies. I want my pain to be neuroplastic. Unfortunately, it’s not.

    • @AnuF9
      @AnuF9 2 месяца назад

      @@HS-1828Why do you think it is not? You can decide what you believe. You have a choice to believe that it is something physical or you can believe that it comes from the mind.

    • @HS-1828
      @HS-1828 2 месяца назад

      @@AnuF9 it’s structural and pressing on nerves. The pain is constant, but I’m sure others have 24/7 as well. Causing complete numbness of feet. I want to believe it’s in my head, but it’s not. I do force myself to exercise and if the pt doesn’t help, I’ll keep following mind/body. Thanks.
