Drag Race really needs a money-limit, like they should only allow you to pay like $10k max for outfits for a season. Right now, it’s turned into just who can spend the most.
I don’t think a limit should be put for the girls, but the show should for sure provide some money for the girls to buy costumes and all the things they need, just to help them not spend 100k all on their own
@@midnashadow8439 They should increase the money prize though... After taxes and after the investment of outfits, some of then probably don't even break even.
Dragula's prize it's $100k, and RDR it's for sure a large budget show at this point, $150k could be nice, mantaining the $5k earn for challenge you win.
@@wasabi.2839 well they do get the 5k prize money for each challenge they win, and I do hope that season 15s winning is 150k like this last season, but I think giving the girls some money to help them out with outfits and all the things they need is good too because some of these girls are taking out huge loans, I mean look at Heidi! She only make 9k in a total year before going to drag race, and cracker even said she put everything into a loan to even be on season 10, so financially helping them with money for things they need would be extremely helpful for then

I love her. She's my favorite, but I don't think she'll ever go back. She's made such a name for herself that she doesn't need the show anymore. She's happy with her mega tours. She's happy doing what she's doing. The chances of us ever seeing her on Drag Race again are just so...so slim. It makes me so sad. :(
People would riot if she loses. The show isn't going to take that huge blow in its reputation.

They just don’t make queens like they did from Seasons 1-8. They’re legendary
Well, I think we have SOME icons in there… what about Brook Lynn, Yvie, Silky, Vanjie, Mo Heart, and Kandy Muse. hahaha. All memorable queens. And season 15 I can see a few becoming iconic very soon, after the season finishes. Sasha Colby was already iconic but the show is expanding her audience for sure. Then there’s Mistress, the twins, London Luxx Noir, all fierce queens. With personality.
Bianca is in a league of her own. Simply the best, plain and simple.

Drag race has become pay to play. Those dress are pretty...for a moment, then something new, edgier will came out of the show... Those dress will just become some youtube content.
I’m just confused Bianca is so talented and professional, and I’m seeing all of these competition shows looking for drag queens, but none to become a great comedian. If Bianca teamed up with Flame Monroe and a couple of queens to train and judge local talent it’s a market for it. Going on tour and making the world laugh
Nobody can handle shade or being roasted without takin it seriously. Like with Joan rivers. But Bianca luckily had the best comeback for a heckler once, “listen, it’s midnight, and I’m a man in fucking drag. Ok, this is a fucking gay bar, a FREE show by the way, and you wanna fucking talk shit? What makes you think I wanna hear it? Beat it, queen!”
I’m always gagged about how attractive Bianca is out of drag.

She is definitely correct when mentioning it's a different show compare to when she was on. I prefer the make challenges. As a drag queen, you SHOULD know how to sew and make your design, compare to the acting challenges. I personally stop watching DragRace due to the fact that it seems so fake and boring. I'm sure the queens are fierce. Buying your $1000 of more designs are just fake to me, yeah some you need to. I truly love the comedy queens, they have something to offer the veiwer. Why would Bianca stop by when she has sold out shows everywhere she goes. That's entertainment, plus dressing up.....a bonus. Talent!!!
"Drag Race" has become very exclusive to drag performers that already make a good amount of money or to those that can convince their parents to take out a second mortgage on their home. It needs a spending cap. As the show's progressed, it seems too often talent takes the back seat to Instagram queens that can afford their own designers. Think of it: Can you name any other reality show for which its contestants have thrown themselves into bankruptcy just to compete? Sure, if you're creative and talented enough at design and sewing, you might have an advantage, but can one performer realistically pull together an entire season's worth of themed costumes (many which won't even be seen on the show) with a TWO WEEK NOTICE? To hell with "Untucked" - I'd like to see what chaos occurs in those fourteen days before they fly to film the show and how exhausted they are before they even step into the Werk Room for their first time.
Back in older seasons the queens would take garments that belonged to friends or drag mother's to help them on the show. They rarely spent money to create an entire seasonal collection. I blame the All Stars format for making the show too money and investment based vs talent and resourcefulness.

Late reply here. But omg Bianca is probably my favorite winner of Rupaul's Drag race. She is harsh when she needs to be, but was actually really kind and helpful to her fellow queens. She is so funny omg. Her stand up comedy challenge was absolutely hysterical.

I can’t believe she’s been doing drag for as long as I’ve been alive. I don’t usually gravitate towards queens who have the old school style of drag, but Bianca has such immense charisma (no pun intended) that I can’t help but be captivated by everything she does or says

Is it just me or Bianca's makeup style is a bit dated? I'm kinda just getting into this drag culture but even Peppermint who's been around for a while has a very au naturale look to her.
Just you ;) and I mean that in a fun way. You'll start understanding it more as you see more drag or drag race content. But Bianca has been doing drag for almost 30 years. She grew up in a different era of drag. This is also her signature look, if she ever changed it up too much I think her fans will riot. Some queens have signature make up (i.e. BDR & Trixie) and others don't, i.e. peppermint (this isn't a read just an observation). So no, I personally don't think BDR's make up is dated. This is her, and this is what the fans know her for.
She literally sells tshirts with her make up on it. It’s part of the brand and changing it wouldn’t make sense
