    I LOVE "tight isn't perfect, tight is just tight". I think those are words to live by in many situations! :)

    I've always hated seaming & avoid it at all costs.... But this is a better tutorial than I've ever seen in the past!! Makes sense doing it on the RIGHT side!

    It’s a good technique I learned it from my mom. But what I like the most in this presentation is the crochet work, all those stitches together…let’s knit it.

    Excellent tutorial. I have wondered what the mattress stitch is. I am a beginner knitter. Knitting takes time and skill. It is good to know how to finish it beautifully.

    What stitch have you done on each edge please? Slipped, knitted, purled? Does it make a difference when you come to mattress stitch the seam? Tks.

    • @StephenWest
      @StephenWest  Год назад

      I did a long tail cast on and a regular knitted bind off. If you have a slipped stitch edge then it should work fine as well.

      @@StephenWest Tks, that’s what I do but have heard people say you have to slip the first st of rows if you want to mattress stitch. Great tutorials tks.

    Can the mattress stitch be used to join seams of tunisian stitches or crochet pieces?

    • @StephenWest
      @StephenWest  Год назад

      Yes! I think that would work very well.

    ❓If I’m left handed should I start on the left side of the fabric❓I get confused watching righted handed sewers

    • @StephenWest
      @StephenWest  Год назад

      Yes, you could start on the left side of the fabric. The most important thing is that you insert the needle in the side of the fabric facing you
