I love how the gingerbread house turned out. Very realistic looking. You have a very steady hand to do all that outlining. My lines would be all wobbly.😂
Love the sawdust look, I will def. make one for next year ! Tip for the windows, gelatine sheets make very pretty glass, if you want stained glass, just use markers.
Good idea about the gelatine sheets. I'm thinking of having the roof like a cookie jar lid, so the roof can be lifted and fill the inside with wrapped bonbons. Kids will love it.
@@carollen5601 I am filled with ideas, it just looks so perfect like real gingerbread, I will also try to make gingerbread trees. And yes, containers for candy, and gingerbread train with room for candy as a centrepiece.
Irina❤ finalmente, so che sei tanto impegnata con la nuova casa, ma sapevo di trovarti! Bellissime le tue case di marzapane ❤❤❤❤ buone feste, felice Natale a te e ai tuoi cari, un forte abbraccio
I have fallen in love with your creativity and have watched so many of your videos. Fantastic work! So so talented and creative both you and partner! This witches room is adorable. I would get carried away with ideas. A fireplace with a cauldron would have been perfect in this room too. Thank you so much for all that you do and for sharing with those around the world...even here in Texas (US). Yee haw! Looking at the comments below and others from your videos, it's amazing how a simple dollhouse video has brought people together from around the globe. If only the real world could find the peace and harmony for all. Take care!!! Eddie
This is excellent. I once made a real gingerbread house. Very big and labor intensive. It was used as decoration only for several years, and the biggest draw to it was the gingerbread smell. I'm betting if you add some ground cinnamon and molassas to the powder, the smell would be great! Also, for those of us who like more detail, royal icing works great as icicles on the eaves.❤
Gorgeous as always!! I've been admiring all the gingerbread projects but felt the same, that the texture being off would bother me! I wonder if adding powdered cinnamon and ginger to the mixture to add a christmassy scent would work! It might also darken a mixture a little bit if it was too light. ❤ Thank you for another amazing video!! I'm such a fan of all your work.
They're very beautiful and look very authentic! I'm certainly going to consider doing at least one next year. I've also made sheets of translucent tinted or painted polymer clay for windows as well as mica sheets for my cardboard houses which look great when lit from within. Thank you for all the techniques and links! 💖
These are so beautiful and clever! Thank you for sharing this technique with us all ❤ how is your house renovation going? Would be fun to see an update!
I've put aside editing the house video because of Christmas (I wanted to upload Christmas video first), but I'm also preparing the house vlogs, there's a lot of news))) we have a new roof already!
Irene I missed this one so late watching it for Christmas. But I've been trying to figure out a way to make stucco looking paste for some buildings I'm recreating. This technique is perfect! I hadn't thought of sawdust! These gingerbread houses came out amazing. The biggest one is so pretty!! Thank you for this great idea. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. ❤Happy New Year!
Your videos are inspiring as they are informative. Thank you so much for sharing and for the links on the sawdust. It’s amazing how real they look.. The gingerbread houses you did are perfect! I think I would add to it some gingerbread scented oils! 🥰 I’m wondering if foam board would work for house construction in place of wood if doing a larger gingerbread house as using craft wood tends to get expensive. I will try for sure. Thanks again Irene!

I'm in Australia and was thrilled to find some wood flour on ebay. I bought 1lt and it cost just over $21, (free postage). I think this quantity will be enough to make plenty!
@IrenesDIY love your content. Not sure if my last comment showed. Love your restorations and was wondering if you have social media where you sell what you make?

Very very clever and it does look like gingerbread. I save the acetate shipping material I get in some packages or in macaroni boxes for window film.

Ирина, Вы потрясающая! Всегда с нетерпением жду Ваших видео!
It is absolutely exquisite and a great idea 🧚♀️🩷
The "dough method" adds a very realistic touch. I think the dotting technique would be great for people who struggle to keep lines straight.

You can also use cinnamon essential oil for the smell)
Those are so beautiful!!! And very, very real!! I just love them!! And what clever tips for the windows, prior to coating them! How fun!
These looks so realistic! Absolutely beautiful GB houses ❤
These would make lovely table centerpieces. Maybe have the children decorate the smaller ones for a small table village.
Everything you make is so gorgeous! You are an inspiration! Thanks for your work! ❤️🎄❤️

Amazing!!
Clear glue mixed with alcohol, inks or watercolors would make nice stain glass windows if you brush them onto plastic sheets for the windows🥰
That's a great idea, I'll have to try that!
🙋♀️❤️. Lovely!
Where did you get that amazing green silicone mat? I have a tiny one the size of a drink coaster but can't find the big ones.
