Everything that can be done in front of a computer can be automated. Development will be more and more about solutions design and architecture. Coding will definitely be handled by automated solutions, and developers will need to adapt and acquire other type of knowledge/profile, more project management/solution architecture/business analyst oriented. At the end someone needs to come up with the idea and more or less guide AI towards an objective and then validate it.
