@@CrimFerret at the end of Blackbird he hits a E1 like in this video. His lowest subharmonic note has to be around C#1 in Oogie Boogie song, 5:29 of this video.

"The Nightmare Before Christmas" is a classic animated film -- using stop-motion animation with puppets -- created by Tim Burton. Its got some amazing songs in it, and a fun story (its about how the creatures associated with Halloween discover that there are other holidays, specifically Christmas), and if you haven't seen it since you posted this, I really can't recommend it enough.

Welcome to VoicePlay. They really are a phenomenal group, and as much as I love Geoff's low notes and even his upper range, I can't emphasize enough how outstanding every last member of the group is. There is no dead weight in the group at all. What's more, from song to song, and even within most of their songs, everyone gets their time to shine. I will say that I'm happy that Geoff has his own solo channel where he does some pretty fun work like his cover of The Headless Horseman earlier this month. Second only to their vocal skill is their theatricality, which you got to see an outstanding example of in this video. They're not all this theatrical, but even in their less theatrical works, they really get into the heart of the songs they're singing. Rarely quite the same style as the original, but I feel like they always stay true to the spirit of the original. I really hope you get to enjoy more of their work!

The impressive thing isn't that the low note is an E1. Geoff sings E1 in a lot of songs, it's no big deal for him. The impressive thing here is the way he flips repeatedly back and forth between his upper and lower ranges several times throughout the song, culminating in that drop from B4 to E1 in a single line ("The oogie boogie man, the oogie boogie man, the oogie boogie man"). That, and the fact that his voice and mannerisms are perfect for the character he's playing, which is also true of the other performers, who are rapidly flipping back and forth between singing in their character voices, and normal a capella backup-singer stuff.

It's an illustrated story book, then it's an animated movie, now it's a play- The Nightmare Before Christmas. Voice Play has made video version of the whole thing. Look them up, you can find segments all over online. Geoff Castelucci is the basso profundo/bass singer, current unofficial lowest bass voice in the world. Other basses get that low on occasion but they're nowhere near as clear toned, they're just growls.
