I think it's good because I love practising I practise every day for about 3 hours and that's how long my dad does throw downs so I'm excited to set it up
Hello I bought a feed buddy and how do I set it automatically I saw that it throws the ball automatically but it’s manual I should press the holder and bat
The product doesn’t last for more than a year. The average life of the dc motor is 1 year. There are no spares or after sales service available. So if you are looking for something that lasts, check something else
Hi, I'm a new cricketer, now playing for a W10 softball team. I'm not sure whether to go for the Speed Buddy Pro. There don't seem to be reviews yet? Can it still work in smaller spaces, for example. Any views welcome. Thanks.
Hi Julie, unfortunately, we don't currently stock the feed buddy pro so we don't have much knowledge of the product as we haven't been able to use it ourselves.. However, we have just taken stock of the speed buddy and have a review video coming out in the next few days! This could be a great option for you and your team as is a level up from the feed buddy and is more versatile.
You should oil your bat twice leaving 24 hours between oiling, then give it a full knock in (around 6 hours) or an hourish if its an old bat before putting the scuff sheet on.
It’s very over priced for what it is, shame it doesn’t come with the balls as I think that would then make it a bit more desirable. Great for kids to learn the techniques of batting.
My kids were hugely disappointed with it… it’s slow for a start (even bouncing twice before you hit it in this video at times!) and it just doesn’t represent anywhere near a real bowl. You can practice shots with it, but you can do that with a ball tied to a bit of rope hanging off a tree in the back garden!
As Richard mentions he has had a lot of use out of the product and it is still going strong! The product has some weight to it but is predominantly made from plastic. Hope this helps 👍🏏
I use it for tennis. And while you won't get power out of it , it's pretty decent to practice your form and shouldn't break if you're careful. Considering how expensive better options are I think it's good enough. Highly recommend buying a couple of extra stackers, 10 balls feels annoying to reload but with 2 stackers you get 20 and its a bit better.
I got it today for my birthday so thank you for reviewing now I know how good it is

It's slightly difficult to judge but from single framing the video I get an initial speed of 6 metres/second (13.5mph) for the ball on speed 4.
Do normal bowling machine balls work with this
How fast is the fastest speed?
