She was a chain smoker and admitted to an addiction to opiods in her 40's. She died in severe debt, trying to purchase life insurance policies to supplement the money she lost. Her son killed himself. Why?!! If Priscilla gets criticized endlessly about her mothering skills Lisa did no better.

@@sherrylll Yes, actually, I do know all of this firsthand; it starts with following the news, which apparently you do not. It also involves doing some research. Court papers are matters of public record. Priscilla filed papers three days after Lisa's memorial service claiming that the signature is forged on the amendment made in 2016 to Lisa's will naming her children Riley and her son Benjamin (who was still alive at the time) as trustees to her estate and removing Priscilla, she is also claiming her name was misspelled. She was never notified she had been removed as a trustee. Lisa did this after she had found out her financial manager Barry Siegal who had worked for Priscilla, had been mismanaging her money. Priscilla still received 900k annually, 15 years after Lisa had taken over as CEO. It is one of the reasons Priscilla sold a few years ago her mansion in Bel-Air she had lived in since 1973, for 16 million dollars to pay her daughter back the money she stole from her. All of this you can verify by googling it. When you are trying to contest someone's will and have their children removed as trustees to their rightful inheritance and estate, you are trying to take over their money. Let me know if there is anything else you need to be informed about.

EPE and the same guy that owned American Idol. Did some bad investments into AI and AI went bankrupt. Squandered all of LMP money away. Of course she never paid her taxes. Her mom could have helped Lisa. After all her mom's getting a lot of money for not doing anything. How did that deal happen without LMP knowledge. It wasn't known until Lisa sued that Siegal guy. Priscilla is still doing business with the very same person that lost most of LMP $100,000,000 . I think I wouldn't have a good relationship with my mom either. Just a thought.
Priscilla didn't just get 900k; she received 900k annually for almost 10 years after Lisa took over and without Lisa knowing it. Priscilla sold her estate in Bel Air a few years ago to pay Lisa back the money she stole from her!

Even if she is able to do that, the probate court would consider what the wishes of the intestate Lisa would have wanted. Riley is 33 years old, is an accomplished actress, an award-winning director a successful model; she is community-oriented and went to Nepal to help build a school. She is more than responsible.

@Paul Fix She never kept Navarone a secret. There were pictures of her with him when he was little all over the tabloids and People Magazine back in the '90s. I think he got into drugs really bad, so I would think it's hard to function when you are addicted to heroin and fentanyl

Actually, a dead man is a worse rival. This is why I always refused to enter in a relationship with a widower. You see, one can assume that a person broke up with a living ex because the feelings went away. But someone who died is someone who was ripped away from you. Love does not end with death.

A widow or widower can still always love the one they lost but can also move on and love another just as much. And the new love shouldn't be threatened by the fact that they still have love for the one they lost. A person shouldn't have to live the rest of their life alone just because they still happen to hold love for the one they lost. If you aren't insecure and have confidence in the love they now have for you then the relationship will work. Insecurity and not trusting that your partner truely loves you is a good way to ensure the relationship won't last.
@@MsVicki73 I agree with everything you said, except in the case of Priscilla Presley, it would be overwhelming, if not impossible, to be around a partner who is head of a company that is marketing and continuing the image and music of her former husband, she insists on keeping his last name and her overall life and lifestyle are centered on Elvis. Most people would not tolerate it. I doubt very seriously Priscilla listened to Elvis's music in her home. If she really wanted to listen to his music, she could when she was alone or in her car. That seems petty compared to the other factors that relate to Elvis in their lives. This reminds me of an old 40's movie called Rebecca. It is about the exact same thing, a former wife (Joan Fontaine), the new wife moves into the house and is driven literally insane by the memory of the former wife. It is a great movie. There is no reason the court will not grant her as the main head of the trustee of EPE and oversee both her sister's trusts. Nava looks so much like his Mum. His band is actually amazing and really unique sounding. At first, when I found out he had a band, I assumed it would be cookie cutter music, but it turned out to be quite awesome in my opinion. They have a really unique sound, and his voice has a special tone to it. I like it a lot. I'm glad he didn't want any involvement with the whole Presley world. I'm glad he is his own person. He's really good looking like his mother. 💜.

With this statement “you have to respect your kids wishes”, SO why doesn’t she do just that now! She wanted the fame she got by being connected to Elvis and his child. Lisa Marie was a drug attic and alcoholic who cashed in everything she could of her inheritance from her father. She spent 150 million dollars and emptied most of the estate on drugs and lavish living. She did nothing too provide a future for her children. She died essentially broke with million in debt which now again Priscilla has too clean up again. The only reason a trust exists for the children was because Pricilla created it and protected it from her mentally ill daughter Lisa Marie.

There is no way at all Priscilla has a chance of being renamed as a trustee of that estate. If that amendment is proven invalid, then the probate court will look at it in what would have been the intestate's wishes, which is Lisa. It will all remain with her three daughters with Riley at the head of it, and they will receive the 35 million their mother had in life insurance for them along with all her other properties; Priscilla will be left out and receive nothing, including being buried with them at Graceland.
Lisa was going through an acrimonious divorce from her ex-husband and found out her financial manager, who had been working for and with her mother, before Lisa took over EPE, was mismanaging her money, investing it in high-risk ventures and paying her mother for nearly 20 years 900k annually when Priscilla was no longer the CEO of the company. Priscilla had to sell her house in Bel-Air she had lived in since 1973, in order to pay Lisa back the millions she had stolen from her. Now she is trying to steal from her grandchildren. Priscilla did well bringing up Lisa and her son, very down to earth children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I can understand her reliving her time with elvis, we all have that one person who we love always but situations force us to change paths. May she have strength to help unite her family after her loss. People judge, and that's what they will do

TBH Im not sure what to believe anymore. People close to Lisa are saying their relationship was very fractured and were surprised she even sat with her mother at the GGs. That is not the mainstream belief. Priscilla put Lisa into a cult (scientology) when she was very young and vulnerable after her dad died, and Lisa spent the rest of her life suffering. She broke free from them around 2012, but apparently there was still blackmail, spying and coercion going on as they tried to control her. Her album Storm & Grace, just listen to the lyrics. She wrote every word and her words very clearly spell out what was going on in her life. I have just learnt that she was about to testify in an upcoming trial against a famous cult member and that she was writing memoirs. I hope her writing is kept safe from the vultures that were surrounding her. I am heartbroken to learn that Lisa's life was this hard. A week ago I knew none of this and believed the mainstream story. But former cult members are talking and it's like opening pandora's box. The "church" were apparently even helping her ex husband in their custody battle. I have had to go back and revisit her music and listen to the lyrics with context. Heartbreaking.
