Brazil declared war only on Germany during WW1 because the Germans sank two Brazilian merchant ships even though Brazil was Neutral. 5:04 For Russia it could be explained starting from Soviet Union. USSR gave education to many post-colonial elites in order to influence Africa and Asia. Example of such could be Patric Lumumba (Congolese communist) University, which is now a The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. So, the legacy continues to today. Many people from underdeveloped countries come to get education in Russia under context of improving their homeland in the future. Mostly though people come from Central Asia.
How do I know that? I lived in Moscow for 13 years next to some universities, so I saw some guys from Central Africa and other places around there. If you talk about guys from Central Asia, then we have a sentiment to them similar to Americans towards Latin Americans.

skiing i get so much since i ski and it is extraordinarily expensive, you need to buy skis boots that match the lock, a reliable coat, snow pants, secondary boots, thermo socks, gloves, helmet/hat, goggles, mountain passes, and depending on it, poles.

6:00 Saudi Arabia subsidizes students to study in the US. From what I've seen, they're often engineers.
Also, one frustrated me because he kept taking TA positions, which grad students use for tuition waivers. This despite whomever was funding him in Saudi Arabia paying him so well that he drove a high-end sports car and didn't need the position to pay for anything.
