All the U-He stuff is incredible when you start looking beneath the surface. Its a great emulation of stuff like the minimoog but the real beauty is in all the cool modulation stuff going on under the hood.
@MarulaMusic well, good to hear you haven't moved on! Thank you for letting us know, and all the best with your projects. Still listen to refractions BTW, one of the most timeless albums, just so beautiful.
Hi.What a fantastic 10 minute masterclass,if that's not a contradiction in terms. From around 6 mins on was just pure ArpMagic.I'd no idea about the restarting, nor that you could record it as automation. Brilliant ! All the more so,since you turned it into a sweet little piece of music, not just a demo. Do you happen to know if Repro-1's arp can do this, too ? In fact, could we do this with most arps ? Or,at least, the powerful ones like Cthulu ? The restarting at varying steps ? Thanks, again, for a wonderful lesson.
Repro-1's sequencer isn't quite the same... that said you can actually automate the pattern length so you can get similar looping effects, its just not as easy as in Diva.
@@MarulaMusic Hi. I just saw your reply. Thanks, for taking the time, and for the advice. Great channel.I've only had time to watch a few videos,so far,but they've been absolutely top notch.
@@MarulaMusic Vital is very high up my list. Never used Serum. Having MOK WaveRazor, all U-he synths, MSoundFactory, many interesting FM synths (Plogue, SugarBytes, SonicCharge, RobPapen), lots of granular synths and all Modular modules (Softube), the Glitchmachines stuff, as well as a lot of hardware synths...I never will use Serum :)
Would be rude not to turn this riff into a full track. Sounds epic
A standard protoculture dance floor burner would be great!
Restart Position is such a cool trick !
OMG, you just blew my mind with the automated arppegiation! thank you!
Sick, keep it up, more diva please
Really loving the content and sound banks! Helping me level up immensely. Full support. Just really invaluable stuff here, much appreciated man.
Thanks mate, appreciate it ;)
Thanks
Damn! Thank you for sharing this knowledge! If you can make more about Diva or Repro that would be awesome
Brilliant ideas, I’ve just got Diva and there’s just so much to learn...
Same! It's a great synth once you figure her out. I made a synthwave track with it, it works brilliant for that genre

Brilliant guide - I foresee many hours today in front of my Diva :)
Freaking unreal! Thanks for the inspo! Just subscribed and love all your uhe stuff 👌 keep it coming
thanks so much and this is super cool. Any tips for dealing with multiple modulations (automation) under the same parameter in Ableton? Cheers!
I don't frequently use Ableton but I know you can set up a rack with Macros that will adjust multiple parameters simultaneously
@@MarulaMusic Hey man, thank you for the tip and I'll give that a try! Much appreciated. Will be getting Diva soon, via your link ;)
I came across here while trying to figure out how to recreate Frankey & Sandrino's epic Arp as played in Acamar.
If i have project in 6/8 and i want to make sound the arpegiator in 4 how can i do it? Is like a polyrithm of 3 with 4. Need to make sound 4 in 3
hi man thanks. i want to ask you. you was one of the best in 2006-2007 in psytrance show us please also psychedelic sound please. thank you
Will of course do some more psy orientated sounds at some point.
he still is under the Shadow Chronicles alias!
sure, and we're glad to have him back. but to this day dawn razor still stands as the #1 morning track of all time.
Amazing content. ❤️
Diva and serum literally made me forget about every other soft synth.
Same, got serum awhile ago and after buying diva I feel like I don't need anything else anymore
Grab Vital... it'll change your mind regarding Serum.
@@MarulaMusic na I have used it, honestly still like serum more.

Man, your videos for the Diva are really good, but it's not 'arpReggiator'! :-)
sounds fairly deadmausy :)
