We don't know maybe the Chinese developed a undetectable drug. It's unfortunate so many of the Chinese athletes got caught with drugs that it calls to question their legitimate wins. Let's not forget Sun Yang 😈😂
Yeah. The Chinese swimming team has to do 7-10 test a day from 5am ish to late mid night While some athletes from some countries can use stimulant legally because they claim they have wheeze.
The scandal since Beijing Olympic. Every country and other countries athletes knew it. They just don't talk about it. Even athletes from Asians countries know it too especially South Korea. That's why China got tested the most and people who knew feel no admiration towards Chinese athletes.
Are there still racial biases against the Chinese !!!! I am a bit shocked after all the achievements of Chinese athletes. They deserve respect and admiration.
They are winning World series in their own soil. But in actual world cup got defeated by Germany in Basketball 😂😂. They even got defeated in Baseball by Japan in final match of Baseball world cup
I definitely see lot of cold shoulder on Chinese swimmers from the US, Aus and Europe swimmers. It's so obvious and lack of sportsmanship and it's shameful. This is the result of leaders of west relentless smearing of China. That's why they said the words of leaders has consequences..
Or China and Russia athletes getting banned with doping so prevalent it's a joke? You are not going to like a kid if their entire family keeps cheating to get Into a class that you worked, and beat others to get Into.
Incredulous China Bashers (People, Culture, etc.) can't believe (Extra Clean) "Little China Man" just left the competition in the dust. Understood, Lance Armstrong scarred the souls of these Westerners real bad.
The most important thing is that he won the gold. End of. The fact that the Chinese swimmers are tested four times more than others just shows they have to work four times as hard. That's always been the Chinese work ethic - train quietly and let the results speak for themselves.
No, it’s the fact the Chinese team has a history of drug violations. They may be clean this time, but doesn’t mean they’ll always be clean. It’s a reputation.
Chinese athletes are tested 30 times a day and get less than five hours of sleep a day, while the United States team does not need to test once. Is there any fairness in sports? The United States is the only country that has not received any tests.
Congrats Pan! Proud of you! Pan's comments were no more than describing his experience in a respectful way, no need to be sore and twist it around this way

I’ve been in the states for 10+ years now, I feel like there are so many more bullying behaviors in the US, not just towards Chinese but also towards themselves, exemplified in freshman years and military boot camps. These things r far less frequent in China just culture-wise.

Congratulations Pan Zhanle, continue to speak out. European got used to winning and have no strong competitor. Now, you represent China and broke the world record in a significant way. You would encounter, jealousy, and shock from the former winner. It is a brave new world from this point on!
"Have no strong competitor?" You don't consider the other swimmers to be "strong competitors?" Dude.....your blatant nationalism is showing. The world record in the 100 m freestyle has been broken literally thousands of times---many of these by Europeans, Americans, and Australians. Just because this is the first time China has done so, don't make this into an earth-shaking event. It is not. This record will be broken as well. Because when an American or Australian breaks a world record, it's taken for granted. But if a Chinese or Asian does it, then in the eyes of those arrogant and racist people and their media with pea-sized brains, he is guilty, because how could a Chinese or Asian swim or run faster than us? They can only wear glasses and participate in math competitions like nerds.

He swam 45.92 in the closing Medley relay leg.
The best swimmers were absent at Doha. In terms of his competition finals he has improved a full second in 2024. His 45.92s would have resulted in a 3 metre victory. This from a swimmer who'd never bettered 47.43 in world finals in the past. Faster times are possible in relays because of the anticipation and flexing as incoming swimmer approaches the wall on changeover. The February 2024 46.80 was accepted because it was a starting leg.
