I have never been taught these scriptures this way. Know it makes perfect sense. They were more than just a story that Jesus was explaining.
Pastor Bohr has a 51 part series on End Time Dimension of the Parables. Very informative and fascinating like all of his presentations.
I have learned so much in the last 4 years watching wonderful and inspired teachers like Pastor Bohr on YT. I had been watching him earlier on my Roku, but this channel has a lot of other speakers and topics on it, too. However, I mostly like his form of teaching. He is a natural teacher, and you can tell he loves the Lord and has no untoward motives.

This series has been a great blessing; however, the explanation of the marriage is very confusing. When we read Revelation 19:1-9, we learn in verse 1 that "...I heard a great voice of much people IN HEAVEN." and in verse 6 "And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude..." Then we go to verse 7 "...for the marriage of the Lamb IS come and His BRIDE (the virgin woman of the Bible) HAS MADE HERSELF READY." Turning to verse 8 "And to HER (the bride) was granted that SHE (the bride) should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints." Finally, in verse 9 we read "...Blessed are THEY which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb..."; the supper comes after the marriage, with all of this taking place IN HEAVEN.
This makes far more sense than a wedding ceremony where the bide is not present; there has never been a marriage of this kind.
The "fine linen" found in verse 8 has been given through the process of the investigative judgement and who are found written in the Book of Life.
