Kunath - appreciate the info man. Best on YT imo, always wait for your stuff before fully diving in… two notes, 1. As much as I love the stat driven / technical picks, I don’t see why DP shouldn’t have a punchers chance for sure… and the fact that Dana loves these kind of storylines. I’m not saying there’s any funny business, but people paying PPV money to watch DP get finished in the first round and dip doesn’t seem like fate. Give me DP by KO, rd 2.
2. Strickland getting there and losing right away is tricky to me, he may just not have it all. Costa is super live for me, and I feel like Costa knows if he can perform well he can be in the running for a shot at the title sometime, where Strickland may be falling back. Costa 48-47.

I’m fully on kopylov as well! I think everyone is taking Almeida because of that win against Alex pereira from 10 years ago. If Kopylov can mix in some takedowns I think he will at least win a decision. I don’t see him getting KOed either, he’s never been KOed. And since Almeida has no BJJ or wrestling Kopylov won’t have to worry about getting finished on the ground. I’ll take the guy with more ways to win. This will be Almeidas toughest opponent in MMA and Kopylov is tough!

I have some pause over the Perez fight. She kind of forces takedowns at times then ends up on bottom. When she’s on bottom she panics and puts herself in awful positions. She was winning a fight and lost by rnc in round 3 then nearly done the exact same against pudiliova

Something that seems to have gone under the radar for everyone’s predictions is the new gloves being in play. It essentially means and Islam sort of confirmed more damage by punches which favors strikers, and Islam said it’s harder to open your hand if I’m not mistaken. I think you guys should bet 20-30 on Dustin, and pull the money when and if the odds flip, I have the same feeling I had with Strickland vs Izzy, and ngannou vs fury

Islam beat bobby green who was on 14 days notice, volk on 11 days notice, armen on 5 days notice, how will do vs poirier on 8 weeks notice? and islam only loss was to southpaw, poirier is a southpaw, islam is a -650 favorite the bookies are saying dustin has a 14% chance of winning and i think he has more than a 14% chance of wining he could ko islam or win a decision since its in American and they are favoring strikers at the moment.
