IEBC Declares Uhuru Kenyatta Winner In Presidential Polls

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta of the Jubilee alliance is Kenya's presumptive 4th president. Kenyatta was on Saturday declared the winner of 2013 presidential elections after garnering majority of the votes cast nationally and surpassing the constitutional threshold of twenty five per cent of votes cast, in at least 24 counties. The chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Issack Hassan, presented Kenyatta with his certificate of victory immediately after the results had been announced.
