You might be able to improve the pivot of the yellow one with some cleaning. I have found that tailings from the grinding and polishing process sometimes get caught in there.
I own many knives worth $1k+ and that case yellow synthetic is calling my name. There’s just something seriously to be said about an original old school knife.
I agree the yellow handle knife is the best choice for a work knife!!!
The bone is more of a gentleman knife for sure!!
Thanks for dropping by Terry!
Oh nice! That's one I was thinking on getting!! Great knife!! That Highlander clip tripped me out hahaha
Thanks for dropping by Randy. Best bad movie ever made. I’m really digging the grey bone.

I’ve got a SS Mediterranean blue Sod BusterJr. on the way. It’ll be my second Case knife, the other being a CV Mini Trapper in yellow Delrin.
Cool. I think you’ll like the Sod Buster. Thanks for watching

LOVE my Sodbuster Jr. so much I now carry it and I have put my 1991 CASE XX Trapper away.
It’s a great pattern. Simple and effective. I definitely want to collect a few more.

It’s gotten better. I’ve cleaned and oiled it and it’s much improved. Thanks for watching Alexander
I do not collect but there is a difference between a stain and a patina.it takes years for carbon to come to surface.like my 54 year old stockmen.
54 year old stockman! You’ve got a treasure. I have my dad and grandpa’s pocket knives. I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Thanks for watching John.

Thanks for watching Landon.
My preference is for the wider knives. It feels like I'm holding a real knife.
Yes, I get a much better grip on the wider delrin one. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
What is a good sheath for the bone sodbuster jr bc it's thinner than the synthetic
I keep mine in a medium Rough Ryder pocket slip. It’s a pretty affordable slip from Smoky Mountain Knives. Thanks for watching
Which would I like? Yes please.....give me all Case knives! LOL
Hard to beat’em. Thanks for watching!
