he was told to not push his feelings back in season 1 and it was also even brought up again in the episode "contamination" with the locker letter, when she told him to write to her and that ones his stopped hitting on her they actaul became friends and it was also then when she told him that he means alot to her.
Chris probably hates Street right now, but he's right. She's gotta stop doing this to herself. The grief is causing her to act out/cope in unhealthy ways. She's not going to be able to hide this, or hide what she's doing from everyone, for too much longer.

Chris was abuse as a child. when Chris acknowledge her feeling for street and it going to be different, she loves him but afraid to go there, when happens is going to be a special break through for her.
@@keshonrobertson1436 I totally understand what happened to her and the emotional trauma that can stay with a person sexually abused as a child. You can easily relate it to Jenny in Forrest Gump. And I understand that they spend almost the rest of their lives struggling with the emotional pain. But I believe you and I know numbing that pain with alcohol or drugs and pushing good people away is not the way to deal with that pain. Eventually someone like Chris is gonna have to confront and deal with that pain or on the flip side someone like Street won't even stick around.
@@masonorosco1090 street would stick with her because I think she did enough to push away. she angry at him but still plan to check on her later because he understands her pain. street and Chris have a mutual connection and understand unrelated by most people who cannot examine their situation and character, that is why the relationship with molly was not going to work for him. I honestly see them as needing each other.

I think the writers need to better when comes to street and Chris for the audience. we all know they belong together. I saw a series with similar partners like Chris and street and the drama was not overplay like this in my opinion. they end up together.

She's a alcoholic and sooner or later it will effect her job and hondo will notice Chris needs to get help he knows what is like to have someone you care for who is alcoholic.
