I hope Street doesn't switch departments, it would be too easy and I want complicated. Not stretched out through another 4 seasons, just quality, complicated content. Idk why but their situation, where feelings are finally admitted and we get some progress just to them to get separated reminds me of Kensi and Deeks in NCIS LA, they finally had their moment and she was sent to Afghanistan (I really hope I'm getting it right). I honestly don't know anymore what I'm waiting for, but I want it to happen once they get back. Also, fingers crossed that Chris being in Germany and Street's surgery and recovery happens during this break, so we get them back max. two episodes in the new season. Having all this build up to have them missing, like half a season would be, in the lack of a better term, stupid and contra productive. Though, by the way Hicks said that Luca, Tan and Chris will be out o the country, Street on the medical leave and Deacon with the cadets, I would guess that the first episode of the fifth season will be like a regathering of the team. In my opinion, it will be Luca and Deacon, but it's complicated, they won't know that they are together but will notice the change in them, if that makes sense. Luca is the easy one, he lives with Street, if he doesn't barge in on something, he will notice that Street is maybe not home as much, or he will notice the difference in his behavior, that he acts happier, or matures even more, something along those lines. He would know that Street "met" someone, but he wouldn't know who it is. Deacon is where it gets complicated. I have a feeling that Deacon and Chris have a very close relationship, I wouldn't go as far to say father-daughter, but she sees him as someone trustworthy, when there was the whole Ty and Kira development, you could see that she cared about his opinion and when thing got though, complicated and everything started falling apart she went to him. I would also like to include Annie, who, despite her problems in season 2, loves Chris and took her in when the breakup happened (3x08 I think). Now, in couple of episodes in season 1 and 2 and I think the first ep. of season 3, we see them hanging out outside the work, with the families. (Keep in mind, I'm very ashamed for overthinking this so much) I think it's safe to say that those still happen, but we don't see it on screen, we should though, because those moments are precious, and people talk at those gathering, they comment and they observe. So, Deacon finding out is actually Annie figuring out why Chris suddenly smiles more, and radiates happiness, telling him and him trying to pry it out of her. Again, he knows that someone exists, he doesn't know who it is. Also, let's not forget about Bonnie, I think that Tan would be oblivious, but if you put Annie and Bonnie together (again in the gathering that exist only in my head), those two would see through Stris in whole of 5 seconds. After that Annie gives Deacon a little push for him to see what's really in front of him, and we have a Stris arc for season 5. And that, dear people is how you waste brain cells, again, I'm very ashamed for my inability to keep comments simple and normal. :D
