You don't know how bad I wanted to play Toon Town. The "Where you can do ANYTHING" line hooked me immediately. I think j discovered club penguin soon after and then gaia online, and then runescape
Unfortunately, you weren't missing much. One of my more tragic memories as a six-year-old is having my father desperately attempting to help me navigate the irredeemably broken start-up process, to no avail. I don't know if the site happened to just be crashing that day, or if it was always that trashed, but no ToonTown for us. :(
Toon Town was a mess. Club Penguin was much better. However I was much older when Club Penguin was a thing so I hardly played but my little sister loved it.
You can tell there was much more effort put into commercials back then. Kids had movie script lines in a 5 second commercial, but nowadays they don't even let them say crap but laugh and run around.
typical gamer 337 I have a job and a car I work at a restaurant called “ daily planet “ and I’m not a dumb kid who drinks that is really stupid I’m never drinking in my life trust me I’ve experienced it before never want to do it again
typical gamer 337 i know that’s what I’m saying I was forced to drink because of 2 of my friends at a party I didn’t want to at first but then they convinced me to do it and I almost threw up
I miss 2004 Nickelodeon. This was when there we’re only good spongebob episodes, as well as a slough of other great cartoons, and Nickelodeon wasn’t trying to act “hip” with it’s “watch me whip” parodies.
Bacca exactly. Also Cartoon Network sucks as well these days. Teen Titans Go 24/7, barely any love for its other good shows like Adventure Time, although it has some good cartoons it’s clear CN along with Nick are dead. It’s not the same like the old days when we had good cartoons to watch as kids which are still good to watch as a adult. These networks now being cringey trying to be hip with memes & smartphones. It’s sad. Glad I was born in 1998. These were the good days.
Pop culture didn't really suck back then. I think that's why early 2000's Nick was better. Plus we were still hanging onto the ninties a little bit, so that plays a part.
Kinda funny how as kids we couldn't stand commercials and now as adults we're here wanting to seek out commercials from back in the day, definitely miss those days a lot.
8:13 I heard this narrator a lot when I used to watch TV, and I want to know his name! The fact that I don't know and can't seem to just look it up and get an answer haunts me!
I need a time machine to go back to my favorite year. 2004 was just awesome, for the most part. I remember renting GameCube games from the grocery store, I remember watching Jimmy Neutron on Nick, I remember all the Spider-Man figures I owned, I remember when Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban was new, I remember watching VHS tapes, messing with my parent's flip phones, listening to new alt rock songs, ect . It really was a cool time!
I was 10 when all these commercials were on nick and now I’m 24. Whenever I saw the commercials with the snacks, I always wanted all of them but now they’re all discontinued, wish they brought them all back.
I was 15 in August 04 and going into my sophomore year of HS. Everybody commenting on here is so much younger than me, lol. Weird because I only remember the Kids Pick the President commercials and the "we'll be right back" bumpers and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
4:45 I always used to eat peanut butter captin crunch when I was little and 4:55 the chocolate milk nesquik I always used to drink that stuff when I was little
1:51 I thought this is a horror ad since it looked and shot like something that came from a horror flick. And I was expecting a jump scare but nope, it’s just an mtv ad
Whoa, those 2004 election commercials were something I didn't expect to remember
Daniel Wayne ikr!!! I never thought of anything while watching them but now I realize it was bc there was an election going on that year 😂

this is the airing of "The Graveyard Shift/Krusty Love" is on August 2004.
I watched that with my sister.
Man I hate people that do this. Just enjoy the damn commercials, no one cares about what episode was on when these commercials aired
@@MrJimmysteel25 I didn't know what episodes were airing during those commercials, so it's interesting to me.
Omg pop tarts crazy good commercials been around since '04 it really doesn't feel that long I feel so old
That democracy commercial hit me in the childhood!!! I remember it so vividly!!! One of the only times Nick taught kids something in the 2000's.

Bogpaddle right! My mom was like, they’re too expensive lol
Dad: "Honey! Can I watch this channel?"
Mom: "No."
I just burst into laughter. Her delivery on that line was too perfect.

I never thought I’d be interested in watching commercials from the past. I was 8 years old and entering the 3rd grade when these existed. Good times
It's actually pretty sad Nickelodeon Splat! was the final program produced in Nickelodeon Studios. The studio was later closed in 2005. R.I.P.
I was 15 years old turning 16 years old in next week in that month and year I had a great time in that year I sure miss it a lot
I was six years old back then I wanna go back damn it
Scarlet soltice same here thank god were 90 kids.
no. you have litteraly no memory from the nineties
bethismagical what?
Armani aka hops 90s kid smith being 6 in 2004 means they were 2 years old when the 90s ended. They have zero memories of anything in the 90s
I was 2 and I wanna go back too.
These were the best times man the nostalgia so real, we need a 2000s club we can link up reminisce and re-live these days
I was 7 in 2004 :) and remember the Splat commercial kinda always played my ds lite while waiting for the commercial to be over
The W. Bush era sure was a wild time to be a kid
donhamilton14 Even though I’m a liberal I’ll admit TV especially if you were a kid was better under Bush than under Trump and Obama.
And Bill Clinton too.
I was 4 then today I'm 18! I want to be a kid again please!
I was 4 in 2004 too!!!
I was 8 in August 2004 3rd grade now I'm 22

That Kidz Bop commercial made me cringe so hard when the little girls started singing Toxic
Watching these commercials is therapeutic🧸🧸🧸.

Lol we could not do commercials like that democracy commercial in 2022. We'd be accused of "promoting propaganda" and get canceled.
