This game just makes me fall in love with Mass Effect 2 all over again after I get sick of playing it rofl.... *wishes my shepard and Liara were dancing to this together in Mass effect 3*
@ImMaxi Another source that comes to mind is the books. none are directly about Shepard (though he/she is mentioned in the ones that take place during/after ME1). Great stories, lots of great characters. A huge universe full of interesting opportunities for more games and stories.
@EnglishMikey It was. A pleasant surprise. Just listened to it for a few minutes. Then got drunk and passed out at the bar, waking up near the restrooms, still listening to this song.
@439613 I did play TM 2004 a lot. And never forgot this song. Never thought about it as a song for in a nightclub. That is, until I heard it when I first entered Dark Star Lounge.
@Shicbs ME is one of the best pieces of science fiction media I have ever come across in any form. By far the best games iv played in a long time maybe ever.
They should have done a part of Thane's loyalty mission in this club, ending with a good old fashioned fist fight in the bathroom and then saying a badass line if you chose the renegade option, as you left the bathroom with Thane.
@DarkProject i for one go to clubs specifically for the music. as someone who grew up with electronic music, i get far more satisfaction from it then from socializing.
Id love to get a home like Hock's and then have this music played throughout the house as I sit down on my balcony enjoying the view of the distant city as the sun slowly sets into twilight.
I dunno about you guys but where i live there's a club with 3 levels. Bottem level is pretty much the dance floor with a bar on the far side. lights, smoke, etc. Second level you look down on the dance floor, the second level has the bar also, the music at this level isn't so loud that you can't hear people talking, and the bar is nice as well as comfy seating etc. 3'd level is split between a bar and another dance floor with a bar on the other end. It's pretty much the closest thing to Omega.
@DarkProject i for one go to music specifically for the music. always. electronic music is what i grew up with and gives me far more satisfaction than socializing.
@MrShadeviperx The story of Shepard ends with ME3. Doesn't mean there won't be other games in the series. Look at the Bourne series of films. Jasons story ends in part 3, but there will still be a part 4 without him. Maybe not the best example, but it shows it is possible, right? And a Mass Effect film is also in the works. I think the ME universe will be around for years to come.
Meanwhile in the Dark Star Lounge. Shepard: (presses A) Me: Just enjoying my drink and the music, Shepard. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: I am moving to Illium soon. The Citadel is nice and diverse, but all the rules. Plus I like dim atmospheres anyway. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: Have you paid attention to Asari and Quarian's, Shepard? Screw xenophobia, call me xenophily. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: I make stops at Omaga all the time. It's a do whatever you want place, and you can find just about anything... anything. It's only a few Relay hops away anyway. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: You see that Asari over there, Shepard? Heaven yes. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: So Doc list me as an L3 adept. Then talked about upgrades -- screw brain surgery. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: Might fight collectors later. Recruit me later. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: Shepard. Shepard: (presses A again) Me: Shepard. There I just wrote myself in Mass Effect. Make it happen, Bioware.
@Santana105 nice business plan, a club styled in a minimalistic but very futuristic style (blue neon light under the bar, doors with an ambient glow around the frame, stage with leds on the floor and this kind of music ONLY) oh and the drinks, nice blueish/orange/purple colors. No kiddie bullshit or something lowlifes take pride in, but something where true relaxation, enjoyment and partying comes together. Fuck yes
@Malificious85 Use a little acoustics to have the music louder on the dance floor, with bearable volumes everywhere else. I've seen bars do that pretty well. dancing is a secondary reason to go to clubs. being social and getting drunk seem to be the main reasons.
@439613 The music in those clubs is loud, because they don't know what to talk about to each other. Shows the intelligence of some of em... When a friend invites me to a party i insist that the volume should be kept low, so we can socialize but most of em just maxout the volume since they have no idea about having fun.....
@TheHandsomeCrab Oh my god... thank you for this intellectually stimulating comment... I've been thinking about this issue for a long time, and I finally came to the conclusion that I like the music regardless. Sure, the immediate association with the game helps to boost the pleasant impact of the music, but it is the quality of the latter that makes the ultimate difference. There were good games with bad music, for which I never cared thereafter.
@bornrevolution There's nothing wrong with enjoying the music. That's why there's a dance floor. It should be loud there. BUT, it shouldn't be blared so loud that everywhere in the bar/club you need to practically spit in someone's ear for them to hear what you're saying.
@daz1499 if it will, i'll do everything to prevent naming planets and places after places and names that appear in the Torah. Mad props to Al-salat and greek mythology though.
@BlackHound It's not on any of the official soundtracks. Some fans ripped it from the original master files. do a google search, it's on a bunch of forums.
Not everyone that dislikes the ending of Mass Effect 3 wants a happy ending with "sunshine and rainbows". I think most people that dislike the ending of ME 3 would've liked cutscenes that showed players the decisions they made in the trilogy actually effects the story. "The Galaxy at War" should have been suicide mission times 3. We should have told the Rachni to do this, the Geth that, etc. Bioware said we would get multiple endings, we didnt. And of course, people detest "Starchild".
@439613 True, true. Haven't read any of the books though. Maybe I will someday. And another example is 'Mass Effect Galaxy' for the iPhone. Very simple game, but still a ME title without Shepard. And I like the ME-universe more than even the Star Wars universe. On par with StarCraft.
I heard those lakes on the Presidium are filled with fish.
no way! I have to go check that out right away :P
No fishes!
this is very depressing.
Shepard in MY STORE!
@@mohamed-cs2pl How about we find a Turian and beat the crap outta him? That always makes you feel better.
"Put more of the stuff in the... the thing more stuff goes in"
"you were born too soon to witness space travel"
insta-depression
Born just in time to browse dank memes
At least you're not in 1800 without TV or internet. Be glad.
Born in right time to play Masterpiece Mass Effect 2
Playing Mass Effect is alot more fun than being an actual space explorer anyways
Don't worry, if we keep annoying the aliens at Skinwalker Ranch enough, eventually they'll tell us their secrets.
I'm assuming control of the dance floor....
I never had a headset on while I played ME2. Now listening to this track with a quality one on, I realize I definitely missed out.
same
same here
ME speaks to me on a spiritual level, the lore is so amazing everything about the game is perfect.
Для тех кто играл - эта игра просто незабываема☝👍
this song was in ssx3, peak 1 down-tempo theme. played when you where on your way to events or the lodge
I want the strongest thing you have
+mikerowave1986 your funeral pall :)
Thank you for reminding me of that great scene :D
Anyone remember hearing this for the first time on SSX 3 while boarding to the next event?
"Put more stuff in the thing where stuff goes in"
I love to chill out with this song
DJ Atomika would be proud that his music still gets played ~200 years later in another part of the galaxy.
Fuck this is so good. If only this was played in clubs/bars on nights out. I'd be out every single night...
Hell yeah. Put more of the stuff in... in the thing.... more stuff goes in.
I loved club music from ME2 much more than from ME3, just the right atmosphere for me
Can't disagree with that
Completely agree
Someone needs to open up a Mass Effect theme night club and play this kind of music.
ssx3 also used this back in 2003
That game was lit.
I'm Commander Shepherd and this is my favorite playlist on the youtube
SSX 3 :)
this is....it's green
"И я гарантирую: ты тоже позеленеешь"🤣🤣
I love this track...coquetteishly
This game just makes me fall in love with Mass Effect 2 all over again after I get sick of playing it rofl....
*wishes my shepard and Liara were dancing to this together in Mass effect 3*
I"VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG! THANK YOU!
Powerplant - Full Throttle
Total Club Manager 2004, SSX 3 and Mass Effect 2
I love you.
@ImMaxi

Listening to this song on my new Bose speakers has made me realise what an amazing tune this is!
Awesome! i love this track ^^
I love listening to this over a nice glass of ryncol.
Amazing track... the lounge music in this game is absolutely top notch! Props to Jack Wall!
Used to just hang out here and listen to this awesome music.
@Shicbs ME is one of the best pieces of science fiction media I have ever come across in any form. By far the best games iv played in a long time maybe ever.
I'll have to agree. They picked the perfect music for the clubs/lounges in ME2
They should have done a part of Thane's loyalty mission in this club, ending with a good old fashioned fist fight in the bathroom and then saying a badass line if you chose the renegade option, as you left the bathroom with Thane.
@DarkProject i for one go to clubs specifically for the music. as someone who grew up with electronic music, i get far more satisfaction from it then from socializing.
@ImMaxi Wow I bet that was a massive surprise hearing that music again then!
I said the same thing, I want Mass effect music in every club. I would be out every night probs.
Id love to get a home like Hock's and then have this music played throughout the house as I sit down on my balcony enjoying the view of the distant city as the sun slowly sets into twilight.

i love this
I love this music !
I go to the Dark Star every time I go to the Wards, but I wish I could dance with squad members (Tali) :)
oh how I agree with you, couldn't have said it better
@Santana105 nice business plan, a club styled in a minimalistic but very futuristic style (blue neon light under the bar, doors with an ambient glow around the frame, stage with leds on the floor and this kind of music ONLY)

Simply amazing song!! :)
@hakeem91740
One of the other club songs in ME2 is from an old Need For Speed game, so I guess it's plausible.
@439613 The music in those clubs is loud, because they don't know what to talk about to each other. Shows the intelligence of some of em...
When a friend invites me to a party i insist that the volume should be kept low, so we can socialize but most of em just maxout the volume since they have no idea about having fun.....
"Hey I came back from the dead to save the galaxy!"
---------silence--------
"Yeah. I'd like another Dollar draft."
This was also in SSX3 i just realized where else i heard it at.
@439613
thing is though, if the music isn't loud enough, no one dances and everyone just sits around a talks instead of dancing
TOTAL CLUB MANAGER 04 SONG!
I once heard this music on a news channel when they did their weather forecast......XD
@hakeem91740
That was one of the first thoughts that crossed my mind too! But I wasn´t all that sure about it. Have a nice WE!
For some reason reminds me of when of those FSX menu music tracks
@Sceptorful haha you are not the only one with that dream!
@hakeem91740 It was the radio background music of DJ Atomica :)
@GreatestMKfighter
it's not bad. in fact, nothing has ever been better. ever.
This song originally came from SSX3, one of my fave snowboarding games. I thought this sounded familiar.
@TheHandsomeCrab Oh my god... thank you for this intellectually stimulating comment... @daz1499
some day... hope we're still alive to see it and young to !
modern Disco Music should be like this.
if clubs looked like that from mass effect then i would go every day
Nightclub in space. So galactic (can't stop dancing)
@TodwardX and the "Powerplant" from Yellowcard!!
Thank you for doing so. ME universe would be intolerable, excepting the third game it was fun to play not to live
On a Mako, you kidding? you'd blow everything in your path, while climbing impossible obstacles with style.
Facing such horror in real life combat scenario would be scary for any normal person even if they were in an M35 Mako.
And this song... I know it from Total Club Manager 2004, lol. Was one of the two songs included. Luckily you could use your own music library.
I liked this track when it was in the game it originally came from. SSX 3.
@BlackHound no one seems to think about you tube converter's... not that difficult to conjure within one's mind the same with video.
T.P.W.
@bornrevolution
There's nothing wrong with enjoying the music. That's why there's a dance floor. It should be loud there.
BUT, it shouldn't be blared so loud that everywhere in the bar/club you need to practically spit in someone's ear for them to hear what you're saying.
It's a shame that someone will eventually dislike this video =(
Until then, we can enjoy 180-0!!
Came from 2019 year. 1K vs 9 dislikes, nothing to worry about
@daz1499 if it will, i'll do everything to prevent naming planets and places after places and names that appear in the Torah. Mad props to Al-salat and greek mythology though.
Turian Barman: "Anything else?"
Prepare for the Arrival.
One person got drunk and hit the wrong button.
This music just makes me think of SSX3
Give it another century... M
I do!
Put more of the stuff in the...thing more stuff goes in...
Full Throttle - Powerplant - TCM 2004

@gummysweet1 Holy shit you're right! How the fuck did I not notice this, lol. I was playing SSX 3 the other day...
@439613 True, true. Haven't read any of the books though. Maybe I will someday.
And another example is 'Mass Effect Galaxy' for the iPhone. Very simple game, but still a ME title without Shepard.

since ssx 3 and me 2 were both published by EA imma guess this song is related to something in-house
Total Club Manager 2004 :)
@Frostshock139O
You do realize that the new DLC releasing on September 7 will have Liara return as a romance option, right?
@mikerowave1986 "This is . . . its green!"
What is the genre of this? I want to listen same song on the Digitally Imported, but I dont know which to click.
"that the best you got?"
Bioware be using tracks from SSX3 and Need for speed 4? Nice
This music is in SSX 3 too!
This song camses from the Totalclub Manager 2004 or at least I heard it first times there.
Powerplant
Reminds me of Aphex Twin and the whole IDM scene. Only I like this better.
