- The Vikings are perhaps best known as Raiders, but perhaps their most enduring legacy is that of settlers. Many of Europe's nations owe a great debt to the Vikings and wouldn't be the same countries we know today without the influence of these warriors from the north.

A Viking man can impress women by demonstrating how he takes his longship up a canal to deliver seeds which can be planted in fertile places.

given the Viking military success why isn't this video being presented in Norse? why are Christian churches from that period not temples of Odin or Thor? how much of the Viking GNP was based on Human Trafficking? are Norse folks still involved in the slave market? when did the Vikings establish universal healthcare in their zones of conquest?
Dont call KYIV RUS ...a russia...what russia are you talking about? There were mud lakes, where moscow is today..KYIV was always there, founded in 482 AD, where it is today, the capital of modern Ukraine....russia was "founded" like 1000 years after that...feel the difference between KYIV and russia.
But the Romans were so much more powerful..and advanced.
Vikings, the original channel crossing illegal immigrants. Just saying
Nobody knows how Vikings looked and dressed but still you see these generic fantasy pictures.
We know how the ancient people looked, we know how the Paleo Indians looked. I’m sure there are some stones with some Vikings on them as well. Before paper, stone was the media for holding information.
that is not true we there have been found lots of clothes from the Vikings, and from Scandinavians from much earlier than the Viking age, dna also shows they looked much like modern day Scandinavians the amount of blonde hair was the same as today, so some had brown hair, some blond, some red ect, we also know how they braided their hair what jewelry they had, what they ate and much more
